Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small But Mighty Just got my new ice cream maker. Set it up and have made three batches of ice cream already. This is perfect for me. You can make one batch after another. Worked just like the on air presentation. It's also very light weight. I would recommend this ice cream maker to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Ice cream Having owed some 6 ice cream makers, i can say that this one makes the creamiest ice cream. Cleaning can be challenging but by wrapping the motor open area with Press n Seal, you can prevent water from entering this part of the machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! We bought this after "In the Kitchen with Mary" (We love her - and David). We love homemade ice cream, and have fought with various types of homemade ice cream makers. They have all failed us almost immediately. This one we received and two days later we've made TWO pints of ice cream already. We used the simple vanilla recipe (no-cook). Everyone thinks it's delicious. I do not understand the negative reviews some people gave. When you make homemade ice cream you usually have to pre-cook the recipe. It's just a given. Maybe they don't understand that? Also, homemade ice cream isn't going to be rock-hard. If you use the machine until it beeps, then immediately remove the ice cream to a container for the freezer, it helps keep it harder. Again, I think people don't understand how homemade ice cream works - and should be thankful this machine doesn't require ice and rock salt! I look forward to a summer of ice creams and more out of this machine! I can't wait to try various flavors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returned this item The consistency of the ice cream was more like snow ice cream. Even after it was frozen. Never did get the hard selection to work. Makes a very small amount but that would have been fine if the consistency was better. I really wanted this product to work but didn't for me. Others have had great results but I returned it wouldn't take a chance that wouldn't get my money back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love this little jewel! I liked this machine so much that I bought a second one for my condo at the beach. Making ice cream couldn't be any easier since light cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla are the only ingredients in the basic recipe and there's no cooking required. There are endless variations on that simple recipe with additions like nuts, cookies, chocolate...you decide. For the adventurous who want to try more of the recipes and are stumped by measuring 1/5 of a cup, google says there are 48 tsps in a cup. Doing the math, there are approximately 9 1/2 tsps in 1/5 cup or 3 tbsps and 1/2 tsp. Problem solved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy and tasty! This is great. I use 1 cup heavy cream, stevia drops and the inside of a vanilla bean to flavor. In 45 minutes I have dessert for my husband and I. It's so easy and tasty. It's delicious. Tastes like ice cream from the olden days. Pure and creamy, and exactly what it's meant to be -- a TREAT!!! I love this gadget. Glad I bought it. Easy to clean.
