This is the most beautiful and most impressive Connemara marble jewelry ever. It is impressive because of its size and worth every penny it cost. The silver pattern is like a piece of lace atop the marble. I am pleased that my marble is dark shades of green with a bit of grey marbling. Only negative is that the cord is so long and almost down to my waist.

This pendant is so exquisite and beautiful. When I'm not wearing it, I have it propped up in a small green stained glass open box. I do consider it to be a piece of art! The silver design on the front of it is very graceful and swirling Art Nouveau. The price was not inexpensive, but I knew when it was advertised on the show, I had to have this handcrafted masterpiece of art. Every day I walk past it in my house and have to stop and admire such wonderful craftsmanship. In the Spring and Summer, when I start wearing my soft summer tops, I will wear this pendant often. I love large queen-like, dramatic pieces like this, and I will be very conscious of it while wearing it. I also love Stephen Walsh"s description of the Princess story behind it! This is my very favorite Connemara marble piece...and I am totally happy with it (as you might have guessed).

Very large but very pretty. Darker than I thought but will go with more things. I have several Connemara marble items from other years and will probably add to my collection next year.

I purchased this for my mother who saw it on St. Patrick's Day and fell in love with it. Upon arrival the pendant was even more beautiful and detailed. The pendant is quite large and she likes the long cord that accompanies it. The stone itself is a lovely hue and the silver detail very pretty. My mother wore it immediately! On it's presentation it was described as the necklace that Princess Margaret of Connemara wore. Truly a necklace worthy of her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Burtailaa Beautiful Bold Marble!
I was so happy to see this large pendant online that I ordered it before it came on air. I love bold pieces, and this is a classic with a fascinating history. Mine is a fresh light green (which will be especially appropriate for spring) with slightly deeper hues forming the landscape. I actually like the back better than the front, as that is where the marble is so well displayed. I think I will often wear it backwards! The pendant's size makes it a great worry stone, and the long cord will be great to use with other pendants. There is just one suggestion I would like to offer for future necklace designs: The circle which attaches the bail to the pendant is so tiny that I hope it won't eventually break. I think it should have been larger and sturdier, which wouldn't have taken away from the design. Keep the large pieces with a lot of marble presence coming! I enjoy the Irish shows and the charming guests who bring us these treasures so much.

I thought this pendant looked lovely on tv and was looking for something to own from Ireland. This was much prettier than it even looked on tv. I love it!! I agree with the previous reviewer that it needs to be worn more often than once a year. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a BIG piece and beautiful. This will not be worn just for St Patrick's day. It is more beautiful than TV shows. Very unique piece. The silver shamrock vine on the front is outstanding workmanship. The back of the stone is flat and has 4 tiny silver shamrocks holding it in place. The back is as pretty as the front. The black cord with the lobster claw clasp enhances it even more.
