Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awesome grill for camping ???? NOT We bought the grill for our trailer to take camping.my daughter picked one up for her trailer and it worked great! The one we got turned out to be a piece of junk I had to return it and then the replacement was worse than the first one I wouldn’t waste my money on another one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Utterly Terrible I bought this 18 months ago, have used it no more than 10 times, and it's already broken. Upon attempting to light the grill, with the ignition switch or my own lighter stick, the grill ignites and immediately goes out. It's like the propane is cut off somewhere. I've tried other propane tanks, hoses, and connectors with no luck. If you're thinking about purchasing one of these, think again. For the price, it's not worth it at all, especially when it breaks in under two years and less than 10 uses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfactory for RVing We use this on our RV Roy healer as our outdoor grill. Works ok but grill plate tend to slide out when pull it. We bought the switch out grills as well. Stove grill works great with frying pans but flat griddle has issues if the grill isn’t setup perfectly level (not easy while camping) as eggs slide to the low side. I had to rehire the pro pain line as I wanted it to hookup to my Arab propane tanks and it doesn’t work with two inline regulators. All in all a good “on the toad” grill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Operates as expected. I use my LXE grill for tailgating. I've purchased the hose and connector to use my 20 lb. propane tank which works flawlessly. It cleans easily, stores quickly and takes up little space in my Ford Flex. I expected as much from Coleman and I'm not disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic gas grill that is also great value I got the grill on sale and promo - so I paid a pretty good price for it. Added a stove grate (get it together with your grill order, you'll not regret it). And I used an existing adapter hose for a full-sized propane tank. Here're the pros: 1. - power - It is powerful (have to keep it on Medium setting). Food cooks fast! 2. - cleaning - Grilling on this grill is easy and relatively fast. Cleaning up is not as fast as my George Foreman grill but is probably considered one of the easier grills to clean up with a wire brush (for the Swaptop), some Windex, and lots of paper towels. 3 - weight - The Swaptop grates are high quality cast iron, making this grill heavier than it looks. 4. - quality - My additional Swaptop stove grate is also made of high quality stainless steel. 5. - portability - Big wheels make this convenient to drag along short distances, but the stainless steel handle nearest the wheel is a bit of a problem (see 1. below). 6 - tables - Slide out tables are a great convenience feature. 7 - aesthetics - My grill is finished in an attractive classic red enamel. It looks sleek and modern, even though this grill has been out in the market for quite some years. There are few design flaws though. They are not show stoppers, but still useful to highlight here: 1. - steel handle cannot double as a stand - When folded, and dragged on wheels, the stainless steel handle at the wheel end will scrape the ground if it is pulled too upright. It will not stand up like a roller bag. This is a problem because the folding design was supposed to facilitate compact storage, and not being able to stand upright severely limits this functionality. 2. - the same stainless steel handle will scrape on steps/curb if you are dragging this down from a step/curb. Even if you do this slowly. They really need to move the wheels out a little and change that handle to a dual purpose handle/stand like on your 2-wheeled roller luggage. 3. - don't forget to clean the drip pan - even though this is advertised as a quick tailgate/camping grill that seemed to be able to cook-and-go, you need to remember to pour out and wipe down the drip pan before attempting to fold the grill up and drag in an inclined position - or you will end up with an oily mess! 4. - transporting dirty Swaptops -the Swaptop grates are not secured even when the cover is down and locked. So they will either have to be removed and stored separately when the grill is on the move on its wheels or you're forced to "stuff" some padding material inside the cover to prevent the Swaptops from hitting and scratching the inside of the cover. This is particularly troublesome after cooking and having to deal with oily/dirty Swaptop grill grates when you need to move it before a thorough clean. 5. - regulator storage - the gas regulator has to be removed to prevent accidental damage while on the move. However, there's no good way to store it (odd shaped). Coleman should provide a storage box that either stores it under the lid or clips on its leg/frame. Solution to 4 & 5: Perhaps Coleman can come up with a simple compartmentalized storage box that looks somewhat like a briefcase - that holds the Swaptop grates (esp when dirty), maybe some extra space for optional stove grates, gas regulator, space for camping gas cylinder, a bonus wire brush and grilling tongs, a few grilling skewers and even an LED grill light as an accessories pack?
