Great idea We have a collectors car that is not driven often so this product will help keep it ready to go. Good size to fit on the dash. Esy to use. 02-26-08
No help at all! I felt so confident when I plugged in my Solar Car Battery Charger that I would never more place my key in the ignition and have a dead battery again. Since I live in Florida and my charger was certainly receiving enough sun I knew it would certainly help me.. Guess what, as I attempted to start my car so I could go to work in the morning, it wouldn't turn over. What was my battery charger doing? Nothing! I got a jump start (I thought I would never need again) and a new battery and QVC is getting this ineffective charger back! Worse purchase ever. 02-25-08
Worst ever purchase. I ordered this for my Husband to help keep his Truck ready to go when bad weather hit. He had just gotten a brand new battery the week before we received this from QVC. He happily went out and plugged in the new solar charger, knowing we would never have to worry about a dead battery again. Three days later the battery was completely gone, dead as a nail. Now we can't prove that the solar battery charger caused the battery to go dead. He checked other things out and could not find anything else that would drain his new battery. We threw it in the trash, wasn't worth sending it back. Jumped the truck off and new battery has stayed charged the last four days. Go figure. 02-05-08
