Clarks Triumph Film Lace-up Shoes
I was looking forward to getting these shoes to replace my current shoes that I wear to run around in and do errands. The heel bed is to high on the shoe and does not feel comfortable causing heel to slip on and off. I own many pairs of Clarks shoes and love them for their support on my back. There was definitely something wrong with the pair I received. Sent back.
Heavy and runs short
I think I have about given up on Clarks. Just cannot get any enclosed shoe to fit me, always seem to be in -between a 7 1/2 and 8 with one being too small and the other too large and the heel counter always slips off my heel. I do hope they bring more open back slides/clogs/wedges for spring since I do seem to fit those as long as they come in wides. This is a very substantial shoe but has very little arch support. For a shoe that is made for walking, it seems there should be more arch support built into the shoe, but it is a near flat arch area.
I have spent a small fortune sending Clarks back to the Q and think I am now convinced they are just no longer for me in terms of their closed shoe offerings.
Nice looking, poor fit
There is a glued-in heel support under the insole which causes your heel to sit far too high in the shoe. Heel comes out on each step and socks slide to the front of your foot as you walk. Love the look and the rest of the shoe is comfortable but the heel depth makes the shoe miserable to walk in.
love these beautiful black suede shoes!
I have many pairs of suede, especially black, shoes. These were just what I was looking for! However, with my odd feet as they are, they were too narrow on my feet. These were mediums. I could have exchanged them except that they were too low on my foot and too heavy! So disappointed! The search continues!
Nice and comfy. I wear them to work and usually change into something dressy but not the last 2 days. Too comfortable to take off.
I was so looking forward to this shoe...looked so comfortable and yet classic...am having to return this shoe as my heel never felt as if it was fully secured ..the back of the shoe just didn't feel comfortable...am truly disappointed...
These are comfortable and pretty. Great substitute for tennis shoes w/same comfort but more stylish. I wear almost every day.
Great fit, style and comfort too!
Love the shoes. When I ordered I was a little hesitant but I am very happy with my purchase. Love the Charcoal Color and the fit and comfort are perfect. I would definitely buy this style again. Excellent arch support and looks great too!
Too heavy, pointed toe, rubbed bunion & hammer toe
I am a teacher and I bought these for work. First of all, the wide 7 fit my left foot but not my right. It was very tight across my bunion an hammer toe. The footbed was very comfortable and I wore them indoors on alternating days to see how they held up at work. They are very heavy and my calves were tired at the end of the day. Also, I thought the toe was more rounded than it actually is. While it is not truly pointy, it points more than I thought it would. The shoes are of good quality and they appear that they will last a long time. However, I am sending them back because they aren't quite as stylish as I had hoped, they are too heavy, and my bunion and hammer toe hurt when I wear them.
Good support shoe
If i don't have the laces to tight they are a comfortable shoe! They give good support, but by the end of the day my feet are tired and ready to to take them off. A great fall shoe.
Love these !!! Comfortable and fit great !! Will last a long time.
WHAT HAPPEN TO THE WALKING MOTION???
The Style was very flattering and feminine (compared to most Clarks--that look like men's workshoes)...However, after that all is down hill, even though it has a nice cushion insert --there is no support at the arch (so you walk strangely going from side to side--as though you are loosing your balance)...I gave these shoes every possible chance on my 1.2 mile walk that I do daily...they were very uncomfortable from the start...there is no effect of that motion they talk about...my feet were red and aching at the end...the back heel needs work --a little higher would help--but so does the whole shoe....Ryka's rocking technology would be a better shoe--if Ryka still builds them that way....
