Clarks Men's Leather Slip-on Shoes - Escalade Step is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe but it has changed (and not necessarily for the better). I am a loyal and avid fan of the Escalade Step. I've owned several pairs and, up until very recently, I loved the style and fit of the shoe. Clark has chosen to redesign the shoe and, in my opinion, they have ruined what used to be a perfect package. Previous design had more unique stitching pattern on the fronts and the toe was more rounded. While still supportive, the shoe now looks less expensive as if it were a knock-off of the original. The shoe's new design has made it narrower that the previous model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Multi-Purpose Shoe I was replacing an old pair of Clark's I had recently literally walked through clear to the bottom, and this shoe caught my eye. I was buying online, but it had the slip-on style without visible stretchy material and in a leather that I was fairly sure would look good with slacks or jeans. It has been a great shoe thus far, and I even walked 3 miles in it the second day I wore them: not a single blister! That's pretty great for comfort. I normally wear an 11.5W, but they were out of that stock, so I ordered a 12. It is a bit narrow, but that helps in the long run to keep your foot from sliding out once the shoe forms to your foot and any elastic might lose some spring. I do wear them to work and to go out to church or to run errands, and they've been versatile that way. I anticipate enjoying them until I walk through them too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shoe looks fine, lightweight, appear to be well constructed Normally wear 9 1/2 M but based on reviews ordered 10. Fit was great and comfortable with exception of length. Returned and exchanged for 9 1/2. The left shoe is snug but the right shoe hurt the ball of my foot. Is it worth the pain to try to "break-in" the shoe? Haven't decided yet. Expected the shoe sizes to have the same fit with exception of length but 9 1/2 is much tighter. Maybe I need a 9 3/4!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! I am on my first pair of these and love them. Bought them Winter 2016 or beginning of 2017 and they own me nothing at this point. I have used then almost every day for about 6 - 7 months. 8 – 10k steps (4 - 5miles) a day. They don’t show any signs of use, other than the bottom rubber part it smooth and no longer has any traction. I have used them to wear with a sports suite or with jeans. I’ve used them for a wedding or dinner out or even to mow the grass.. They work for everything and clean up so easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second pair of Escalades I recently purchased my second pair of Clark's Escalades. I absolutely love them. They are lightweight but tough. They are dressy enough to wear with a suit, or casual enough to wear with slacks. I completely wore one pair our and have not replaced them! I just love the styling and functionality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable Bought these for my husband as a gift. He loves how comfortable they are and I like the style. Dressy enough for the office and look nice with jeans too! Quality seems good but he’s only wore them a couple times so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COLOR The new color is awful....shoes look like "pleather." Old color on #70846 much better and looked classier.
