Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable for walking, standing. Excellent fit I was surprised at how comfortable these shoes are right out of the box. No need to 'break them in'. They breathe well and are comfortable for long walks too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent shoe at a great price I bought my second pair of these. It took me 18 months to wear out the old ones. These look good and were comfortable on my first day wearing them.. I wear a 13 wide and usually look for a EEE width. These fit me very nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I purchased the correct size, but they are larger than that. Will be sending them back to get a half size smaller. My son loved them, but they ran larger than his normal size. I bought them as a gift.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased with my purchase. Unfortunately, I bought them in a rush and did not did not really pay much attention to the ascetics, because the shoe is certainly ugly. I am not sure what the design dept. was thinking with the bulky sq. toe and stretch vamps. The team obviously put their artistic integrity aside for this one. I assume that from a business stand point the shape makes sense, the shoe comfortable on a greater variety of different shaped feet, and thus able to sell to a larger market. Ascetics aside, the shoe is quite comfortable, certainly no complaints there. In hindsight, I think personally I would have went for a Balmoral style like the “Coling Boss”, or if sticking with a derby something with a better shape. I only paid about $65.00 for them (MSRP $90.00), I would not pay full retail. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. Regarding construction, the leather quality is adequate for the price point and the rubber outsole works for me because I wear them only on days when it rains or when I need to be on a construction site in dress shoes. I have worn the shoe eight times over 20 weeks (0.4 x per week) and they still look brand new. I clean and polish them at least every other time I wear them, or if they get specifically dirty I will clean and polish right away. My only serious complaint would be even the shoe still looks brand new, my little toe has worn through the synthetic lining material in the inside of both the shoes. I think it’s only a matter of time before it wears through the uppers. That would be a shame considering everything else on the shoe looks new. If the uppers do puncture before 10/12 wears I will consider requesting a new pair from the company. Regarding size, this pair is an 11.5 regular and the fit is perfect. However, that should be taken with a grain of salt, as I don’t really have a baseline size for comparison. My feet are actually slightly different lengths. I have about ten pairs of dress shoes varying between 11, 11.5, and 12 w/ different widths, they all fit “perfect” as well. Since it’s a great price point if you can get them on sale, the poor are ascetics are my humble opinion, and the toe wearing though the lining might have more to do with the shape of my feet that the quality of construction, I rate this shoe as “Good”, a 4 of 5.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable The shoe is very good but the sole squeaks on tile surfaces. The sole is also very slippery on wet tile. The fit is perfect and there was no break-in period with these shoes. They were comfortable from the start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, comfortable These shoes are excellent for everyday wear. My job requires dress clothes, but also has me on my feet quite a bit. These shoes look classy, stay comfortable throughout the day, and appear to be rather durable as well. The comfort padding hasn't worn out despite months of wear. I have them in both brown and black. I'm now sold on Clarks quality. These are my first Clarks shoes but certainly won't be my last.
