I absolutely LOVED these shoes. I wore them on a trip to Costa Rica in April of this year, and was completely happy with them. I proceeded to wear them for the summer, but by September, my toe was poking through the seam. I didn't wear them every day, nor did I wear them for strenuous sports. They lasted less than five months with pretty standard wear. I own MANY pairs of Clarks, so I'm baffled as to why these didn't stand up to the test of time like my other Clarks have. Perhaps it's the fact that I didn't buy them directly from Clarks? (I bought them in an 11M, and felt they were sized perfectly.) I'm glad I didn't pay full price, but I think $44.42 was too much to pay for a shoe that would only last 4-5 months.

When I first open the box and started to look at the shoes I was a little puzzled at how to put them on. The laces are fixed. Then I just slipped them on my foot. I was really surprised at how comfortable they were. You have to push your foot little hard to get the shoe on, but once you figure it out it's great. I got the gray and love the color you can wear it with every thing. I order this in my regular size 7 and fit perfect.

I ordered these even after reading the negative reviews. I ordered up a size thinking that would compensate for the inaccurate sizing. Here's what I found: These are great sneakers, if they would fit. I definitely like the orthodic feature, because it helps with my arches as well as my knees and back. The fit problem, though, is a direct result of the orthodic. Without the orthodic, the sneaker fits perfectly. Whoever designed these neglected to factor that in when providing the specs for construction. I really wanted to make these work, but without the orthodic they just do not feel comfortable. I had considered returning them for a different size, but there is no way to know whether to go up another size, go to a wider width, or both. Plus, the orthodic also reduces the inside height, which means even going a size up or to a width wider, they probably would still feel tight around the arch and instep.
Clarks: If you recalibrate the sizing on these to include the orthodic, you would solve the problem and elminate all the returns you are generating the way they are now. Please bring them back with the correct fit and let everyone know it has been fixed. I'd definitely reorder and might even buy several pairs.

I purchased these last month for vacation. I ordered my normal size and they were true to size. The biggest problem I had was getting into them. The back seems to sit a bit too high and folds under your foot. Try as I might this happens every single time I put them on. I had to put them on with a shoe horn. I've never had this problem with any other clark shoes and I've been wearing them for over 20 years. I was also a bit disappointed in the insoles. I've come to expect a lot more cushion on them than these had. Overall, they looked good on, once you got them on, but after wearing awhile they're not so comfortable.

These were purchased for an upcoming trip to Asia. Having the feet covered and comfortable is really important. Because of the price, I will not feel bad if I have to toss them after that said trip. Word of advise, they run true to size, I am a 8M, but the M width is narrow on the toe box. Now, I am a M, but a generous one. So, if you are M to narrow, then you won't have a problem. But if you are a M and your feet swell up a bit, these are not for you. Also, it is a bit difficult to get in and out.

I have worn these shoes approx 12-15 times. They look great outside, fit well and are comfortable, however, the inside back has already worn away on both shoes. I own several pair of leather Clarks that I am very happy with. I will not purchase their athletic shoes again.

It is hard for me to find a good pair of casual shoes since having foot surgery. These are the best pair of shoes I have ever purchased. They are so comfort and light weight, easy on easy off, I have since ordered 2 more pairs. I have been trying to order a few pair for my mother as well in wide size but they sell out quickly. So if you need something casual, comfort and lightweight don't hesitate, ordered while you can!

Feels like you aren't wearing any shoe but after walking all day in New Orleans I wished I had a little more padding. Shoe is very light and comfortable for normal daily use.
