Description
Spoil yourself or someone on your gift list with the Clarisonic Mia 1 sonic cleansing device. This one-speed facial cleansing system includes two super-plush and soft Radiance brush heads, an invigorating Deep Pore brush head, and Refreshing Gel Cleanser.

The rechargeable Mia 1 uses gentle sonic oscillation technology to gently cleanse skin. Clarisonic cleansing removes six times more makeup than manual cleansing with finger pads, helping to increase product absorption. The result is softer, smoother, more radiant-looking skin in as little as one minute a day.

How do I use it: Remove eye makeup before cleansing the face. Moisten skin and brush head with warm water. Tap off excess water from the brush head to avoid dripping. Apply a pearl-sized amount of cleanser to wet skin or directly to wet brush head. Turn on the device. Gently move the brush head in small circular motions and keep the bristles flush to the skin. Spend 20 seconds cleansing the forehead, 20 seconds cleansing the nose/chin, and 10 seconds cleansing each cheek. Mia 1 will automatically shut off after one minute. Rinse skin thoroughly with warm water and follow with preferred skin-care routine. Rinse brush head with warm water after each use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to Clean Charged it for 18 hours; never seen a magnetic charger and was told by Clarisonic that because of the color of my unit, Magenta, I would not be able to see the charging light! What?? So anyways, it does clean pretty good with my cleanser which I put on my damp face first and then wet the brush. After the first use, the brush was horrendous because I use IT cosmetics and the brush became the color of my makeup! It was very hard to remove the head from the device as I do have osteoarthritis in practically all my joints and my hands are one of those affected. So I had to scrub the head with a cleaner to get all the makeup off. I don't know if I want to do this every night. To the reviewer who said her device had a bad smell, the instructions say to remove the head and wash the device once a week and it says in the instructions that is is waterproof. I am totally on the fence with this and have to see if I can clean the head without taking it off the device. I just don't believe anything is totally waterproof.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product! Purchased this clarisonic several years ago as a TSV. I have used it almost every day since. I tried the test using my wet wipe first and then my Clarisonic. I was amazed that there was more makeup left on my face. My only criticism is that I wish it was smaller for travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product For Great Price First I would like to say this exact set is $129.99 at Sephora & Ulta, so even at the regular QVC price of $99 this is a bargain!! The TSV price was incredible!!! I bought my Clarisonic when it was offered on QVC about 8 or 10 years ago. It still works and I love it. Unlike most people I only use it every other night. The reviewer who said it breaks your capillaries must have another issue going on. Everyone I know from age 35 to 75 has used this for years with no problem. I just wish I had one when I was a teenager!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product! I've had my Clarisonic Mia more than five years. It still works great. have always had oily skin and have tried many cleansers to try to get my skin clean. Now I use this with a gentle cleanser at night and couldn't be more pleased. Wish this was available when I was younger! I would never be without it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moldy Smell After One Year Of Use I have had two Clarisonic Mias, the first I purchased in my twenties but gave to my mother (because it was a bit much for my skin at that time), the second I purchased for myself because it was on sale, and now in my thirties, I wanted to give it another shot. I used it regularly at night to take my makeup off. It worked very nicely paired with Purity or any face soap, and was great for exfoliating my skin and keeping it clean. Though it is waterproof, I stored my Clarisonic in the bathroom by the sink to dry each day after use. HOWEVER, after a year (just over my warranty period) my Clarisonic started to smell. You know that moldy old sponge smell. I replaced the bristle, but the device still smelled. I YouTubed videos on how to wash the device to try and get rid of the smell. No dice. I called the company, and while they did offer me 20% off towards the purchase of a new one, I had paid over $100 for the thing only to have it smell like a sponge after a year. Maybe that would fly with me for a 20 dollar Neutrogena knockoff, but not for a luxury face wash tool. $79 is a fantastic price, but I just don’t want to keep throwing money to buy new devices. The idea is to have to replace the bristles, not the device.
