GREAT MACHINE
I BOUGHT THIS FORMY GRANDSON'S 5TH BDAY AND HE LOVES IT. i HAD AN OLDER HAND CRANK ONE BUT THIS WAS NICE THAT IT WAS ELECTRIC. EASY TO USE AND FUN TO EAT ON A HOT DAY. CAN MIX WITH SODA OR OTHER DRINKS TO MAKE IT ICY LIKE A SLUSH. EVEN BETTER TO HAVE FREE SHIPPING AND EASY PAY TOO! CAN'T GO WRONG.

Awesome Machine
I have used a snow cone machine for many years which recently burnt out (it was a different drand). While searching for a new machine, I found this one. It was much less cost than others and I liked that it came with supplies besides. I have been using it every day since I received it two weeks ago. I LOVE it! The ice comes out like snow, just the way I like it. Now I'm glad my old machine failed becuase it didn't work as great as this machine does!! I like that the motor is on top and seperate from where you put the ice in, so it's very easy to clean without getting the motor near any water. Cleaning is important because I use the included ice form to freeze different flavors of sugar-free Crystal Light; I also use the forms for plain water ice which I like to shave over milk! I have to say I have not tried using with ice cubes yet; I have only used the ice forms. After I freeze the ice disc, I place it in a ziploc bag and put it back in the freezer so I can make more discs (I like to have a big supply on hand). There were some posts saying they were having trouble using it; I have one suggestion: when saving the ice, put more pressure to the top front while pressing down. I noticed that the ice shaves faster by pressing forward (because that is where the ice blade is).

Awesome purchase!
Do not understand the negative reviews. Works GReaaaaaat,. Kids had a lot of fun. When you hold down for ice shaving it supposed to go round and round a little. Great product. Please make in black and silver to match my kitchen :)!

My 10 year old grandson loved this as Christmas gift. Made his snowcones that night!

Shaves ice what more can you expect.
I got this as a extra gift for my daughter who loves shaved ice. Haven't figured out if the top is supposed to close or just wiggle around like it does when we use it. Anyway it shaves ice so its okay. She loves the sno-cone flavors also and the cups and straws that came with it. I couldn't buy one in a store for this price without all the extras.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR THOSE HOT DAYS OF SUMMER FOR MY FAMILY , IT WORKS GREAT, VERY EASY TO USE, THE SYRUPS TASTES FANTASTIC , ON ONE HOT DAY I INVITED FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS OVER AND IT WAS LOVED BY ALL. IM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT !!

I bought it to shave ice for margaritas
I bought this for the simple fact that it shaves ice. I use it for margaritas and just to drink soda with shaved ice. I like just eating the shaved ice plain. Margarita makers cost hundreds of dollars. This might be a little more work but it gets the job done.

We love it!
This thing is summer fun at it's best. I've noticed you have to push down in the front when holding the button to get a good grip on the block of ice though but overall it works great. We use ours several times a week and love it. No complaints here!

AWESOME MACHINE!, But use ice cubes not the trays.
We bought this for our son on his 6th birthday. We have no problems at all using the machine. It works great. We did find that it works better with the ice cubes out of your tray in the freezer than with the enclosed plastic trays. We are glad we bought it! And the flavor of the juices included is great and only 6 grams of sugar each!

not impressed
You have to have a lot of muscle to work this, really not worth the effort. Tried it twice, took 30 minutes to get enough ice for one cone. Simply not worth it.

I sent this to my grand daughter and she loves it!! She's always using it and the machine works great.

Not A Keeper
I bought this a few months ago and was excited thinking that I could use it to make snow cones for my grandchildren and it would be fun. They are too young to operate machinery, but are not too young to enjoy the snow cones. Well nana tried it twice and that was all I could handle. The top wiggles all over when trying to shave the ice, which if you can get shaved, is a nice consistency. I think this item is very poorly built and I won't know how long it would last, can't imagine long, because I am returning it.
