This sharpener works on every type of knife I have, serrated bread knife, chef's knives, paring knife, carving knives, pocket knife, everything. It does a great job. It is very easy to use, once you read the directions that come with it, it works just the way it's supposed to. My knives haven't been this sharp since they were brand new!

I had this sharpener for a few years now; and it is so easy to use.
Most Knives Sharpeners in the market do not have the slot to sharpen serrated knives
and this one does. Needless to say, it keeps all of my knives sharp, specially my bread and tomato knives, which I use a lot. And, they are, both, serrated.
Another feature I like is that this sharpener has weight to it and it stays put, while you are using it.
Lastly, the body is made of chrome--always my preference, because of its durability,
Most importantly, the sharpener slots are diamond cut.
So, I know, it will last forever.
Ultimately, it pays for itself, to sharpen all my knives, it would had cost close to $200-
And, my knives are forged, so I do not want someone breaking them. Besides, very few places want to sharpen serrated knives, because they either don't have the equipment or they do not want to take the chance of damaging your knives.

It was hard to pay $150 for a knife sharpener, but I am so glad I did. It does an excellent, professional job. Really like the serrated knife sharpening feature. Be sure to read the instructions. The first slot is seldom used. It is great to be able to keep all my knives (and family's knives) sharpened without having to take them to a professional. Sharp knives are indispensible. Would definitely recommend investing in this tool.

I got this about 4 years ago. It is a wonderful tool to have in the kitchen. There is nothing I appreciat more than a good sharpe knife. It takes some time to get it out of the cabinet and get started. But it is well worth it in the long run. Something you will have for years and pass it down in the family. A good buy.
