Centigrade Packable Anorak Jacket
Great lightweight jacket!
I bought this for my daughter to take with her on a cruise. It will provide protection as a windbreaker, and is water resistance. It has a lightweight lining that doesn't stick to clothing. By layering with a sweater, it becomes a flexible alternative to having to pack both a lightweight and a heavier jacket. She loved it and is looking forward to taking it with her on her cruises. I got her the white one, and we love that it is washable too! She also loves that it has long sleeves, but they can be rolled up and has button tabs to hold rolled up sleeves in place. It was a bit pricy, but is definitely worth it. The style is also very attractive!
Very nice, very big
A beautiful, and practical windbreaker/rain jacket. Perfect for an late summer trip to Russia. It definetely runs big, which works if you want to wear a sweat jacket underneath. It has lots of pockets and is made of a very comfortable, soft fabric. Packs easily in carry-on luggage. A good purchase. I got several compliments when I wore it.
Perfect jacket for traveling & for 3 season wear here in NC! After reading the reviews & checking the sizing chart, I did order a size smaller than usual. It does run large & going down a size it fits well with enough room to wear over sweaters in the fall & allow for ease of movement while driving. I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of the stylish & versatile jacket.
I received my jacket today and so happy with the quality and fit. I looked everywhere for a raincoat with no luck, then while browsing QVC ran across this jacket, and bought it right away! It has large pockets which I like. Well made! Very happy! Thanks!
I agree with the tacky hardware, bright yellow on a bright
green jacket. Fabric is so-so. Not sure if I am keeping
I received the jacket in white (for summer wear) and I could not believe how big (think huge) this jacket was. It is a very nice jacket so I promptly packed it up to exchange for a smaller size. I hope the next one is a better fit.
Practical and Pretty
I waited a long time to find a true-white anorak jacket that didn't look cheap or boxy. This one has all the bells & whistles I wanted: water repellant, hood, tunic length, pockets, adjustable waist cinching, snaps & zipper closure and it is lightly lined! Note the sleeves can be worn long or rolled up and there are snap/straps to hold the rolled up sleeves in place. I am looking forward to wearing this for the first time this Spring to a resort vacation. Goodbye black, gray and beige coats. Hello white!
nice coat for the money
I liked the coat but thought it was a bit boxy. I also thought that the gold hardware was a bit too bright. i sent it back.
Nice jacket but runs big
I purchased this jacket in red. I love the color, it runs a little big though. Still on the fence whether I am keeping it or not. I was a little disappointed that there were no directions to show how you can pack this jacket, since that was the big selling point when on TV.
just what I needed
I really like this rain jacket. Lots of pockets. Like the gold hardware. Gave 3 stars because mine was defective and had to exchange for another one. Also, wish it was made in USA.
Just tried the jacket on.......LOVE!!!!! I wear a medium and that is what I ordered in the white. It is very expensive looking as well as the feel of the material. It's not that plastic or nylon feeling windbreaker that you get at the departtment stores. This can be worn as others have said dressy as well as casual. It will be the only jacket I need to take on my trip this spring and it folds up into itself and zips up in the pouch on the back of the jacket. Will be ordering another!I would give it ten stars if I could.
Watched this jacket for a long time and when I saw it on ez pay with free ship I decided to go for it. For quite a while the red was sold out and then it was back again. Where do they come from, are they jackets that were purchased and returned because of a flaw? Well, I got the jacket today and it is awesome, very well made, perfect color and roomy which I like. The problem is a snap is missing a part, hence my above suspicion. So because I like the jacket I ordered another and will be sending this one back. Now I have to pay the shipping on a flawed item to return it. If my next one isn't in perfect shape I'm going to back off a little from QVC. It's getting cheaper to take the time to drive and shop local, at least local shops don't kill you with the shipping.
