I received this ring, looked at it, tried it on and just did not like the way it looked on my hand or the way it fit. Maybe if it had been all smooth silver and not the twisted band ?

I ordered this ring only because they had me on wait list for the Or Paz design. So, I ordered this instead. I received it today. I didn't have it on 12 hours before I noticed a little bend in the ring. It was not there this morning when I put it on. I checked after reading some reviews. This was my first piece of Ms. Pollack's. Also, will be my last. Sending ring back this weekend. By the way, re-ordered the Or Paz ring. It looks like it will hold up. Would not recommend this ring.

I haTve two of these rings--one that I ordered from designer's website and the 2nd that I ordered from here. I ordered a size 7 (my ring size for my middle finger) at the designer's website. My hands are arthritic with enlarged knuckles and this ring was way too big for my middle and pointer fingers on both hands. So I came here and ordered a size 6 as I really liked the design of the ring. The ring slid over the middle and index fingers absolutely fine. I would suggest sizing down 1 size for the finger you wish to wear it on. That being said, the metal is very thin and easily bendable. I was disappointed as I wanted to wear this as an everyday ring, which just isn't practical if you use your hands a lot in your work and household chores. It is so thin and light weight you do not even feel it on the finger except where the top of the ring edge rubs against the middle knuckle of my pointer finger. I have loads of rings from this designer that are very substantial and some, a bit heavy. In comparison with that, then IMO, the ring is overpriced for the weight of the silver. I love the style of the ring but at the price point, it really is not a great value. So sorry.

I purchased this ring several months ago. I admit I was weary about purchasing this ring because I am very rough with my jewelry, but to my surprise, this ring looks just as good as the day I received it. I normally wear big, bold rings, so this was quite different. This "X" ring by Carolyn Pollack is awesome!!! I love the daintiness and the appeal. I've received many compliments on it. I would definitely buy more if it came in other colors of silver.
Rated 2 out of 5 by adnull29 Thin and uncomfortable
I love the design, but upon receiving it, I found it uncomfortable and very thin. It looks more substantial in the presentation and I know sterling is expensive, but this is very, very thin and I'm disappointed. Will be returning it.

Ms. Pollack, I am very disapointed! You always have such well made pieces, but not this one. It is flimsey and ill fitting. Was so looking forward to getting it. Sorry to say, It is on it's way back. Please remake this in a more substancial product. You always make such beautiful pieces. I will be back for more.

This ring is very nice. I purchased a 9 in Carolyn's turquoise version of the X ring and after waiting so long to receive it, it was too large and there aren't anymore. When I saw this I ordered it in a size 8. It is perfect for my index finger or my middle finger or my thumb. If I had purchased a 9 it would have been too large. The silver is a bit thinner on this one and smoother, imo, it makes it more comfortable. The dimonique version of the X ring is smaller in one direction of the X and larger in the other allowing me to wear on the ring finger, middle or index finger or thumb. This one does not do that when you purchase it for the larger fingers in the first place. I love it. I wish Carolyn would do more in the turquoise X as I know now what size in it would fit me.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Harvester of Victory Didn't Fit
I only wear rings on my ring fingers, and always take a size 7, so that's what I ordered in this ring. I couldn't get a comfortable fit in any direction, although it did slide over my knuckle and on without difficulty. In one direction, the movement of the finger was slightly blocked; in the other, fit was just a bit too wide and slightly loose. Even if it had fit me well, the wire that makes up the ring is so thin that there is really no presence of the kind one is looking for in an unusual design, so it might well have been returned for that reason alone. Disappointing, because I own other Pollack rings and am pleased with them.
