Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Chain I purchased this chain to go with a Carolyn Pollick enhancer pendent. It works beautifully with the pendent but also looks great on its own. 04-04-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Copper vs. Brass Look Surprise I returned it because I too got one that looked like copper instead of bright gold-colored brass links. The interesting thing is that I had also ordered a 36 inch chain & that one DID HAVE bright gold colored brass links! I returned the 24" and requested an exchange thinking that the copper one must have been a fluke. QVC refunded my money instead of exchanging it. Now I see the reviews, it seems that all of the 36" and the 24" chains are different colors, brass and copper, respectively. What were they thinking? I had envisioned layering the 2 together and had planned on using the 24" by itself much more often with blouses. Shame that the 24" is the copper one! I'd like a chain with high polished silver links, vs. the highly oxidized which adds that western look, and high polished brass links that would go with a lot of my CP mixed metal enhancers. I hope CP changes the 24" chains! I have never liked the copper look at all. 02-26-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Brother from another mother.... No question that the brass in this chain is a totally different color than the brass in the two-tone enhancers I have from Carolyn's collection-- this is pink or rose tone; definitely not gold. I think there is much to like about it though-- the links are smaller than I perceived they would be from the pictures online and that allows it to be fluid-- it is light weight and comfortable to wear, and it is long enough to slip on/off over my head so no messing with the clasp. I have been waiting quite awhile for a designer chain--since Carolyn's last one sold out-- so I am loathe to send it back-- but I just don't have anything else this color to make it work. It looks like it would be a good match or compliment to any of the Bronzo jewelry pieces that QVC sells if you have bought into that craze-- 02-18-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a Keeper I am a big fan of your line of jewelry, Carolyn, but this necklace misses the mark. The oxidation makes the links look like they are tarnished, so I know it would never make it out of my jewelry box to be worn. The concept of the silver and brass is great, but I think this piece needs to go back to the drawing board for rejuvenation. It is definitely not worth the cost to me. Sadly, I have to return this one 02-10-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed! When I received this necklace in the mail, I was quite surprised. Rather than sterling and brass links, it very much looks like copper and brass links. When I got out my Carolyn Pollack sterling and brass enhancer pendants to put on it, the coppery color of the necklace didn't match my enhancers, at all. The lobster claw clasp also wouldn't open. What a bummer! 02-01-16
