Rated 5 out of 5 by Barb4 ABSOLUTELY LOVELY PIECE
I bought this based on other reviews since there was no video and was not sure I would like it in person. Well, this pendant is beautiful. it is very well made, the stones are beautiful blue violet , and the design looks like a Victorian piece. I bought all three pieces and are thrilled with them. If you like the look of antique or Victorian jewelry, Caroline Pollock comes through with this gorgeous collection.

I got the ring and this matching pendant. BOTH ARE OUTRAGEOUSLY GORGEOUS!
My stones GLOW a VERY unique violet-blue. I love cabachons because stones must be viewed for their own beauty, not some fancy cut!
This is a perfect size and I like the randomness of the stones sizes. The silver work is incomparable in its intricacy.
IT LOOKS LIKE AN HEIRLOOM FROM A GRANDMOTHER OR GREAT GRANDMOTHER! An antique! This is the perfect pendant for blue jeans OR dress-up.
These pieces should have surely made it on-air or at least have a human model available on video! They are absolutely stunning and I have gotten very hard to please!
And QVC: bid for some new drawstring bags for shipping as well as boxes that don't look faded.....kinda nasty for our special things to come that way!

I have many, many of Carolyn's designs...sorry but this one was just not a WOW for me...silverwork was amazing...good size....well made...but the stones were not big enough to show off their translucency...thus dull.

As usual with CP, the silverwork is sublime. This design is 'different' in a very good way. Perfect oxidation. Ultra detailed. I'm REALLY digging the scalloped-ridged effect in the scrollwork here. (I'd love a coordinating silver band ring incorporating that design!!!) I also appreciate that it's articulated at the bail for more movement. It has 'concavity,' so it's still visually interesting from a side-angled view.
The Blue Chalcedony is a lovely stone choice, but I would rate a 4.5 stars if I could, because the translucency of my stones is not consistent. The color matches in all stones, but light plays in the top 2 stones while the bottom 5 stones appear opaque. I also think most people will mistake it for lapis from afar since the blue is so deep and rich.
Value for the price? All I know is the coral Lovebird enhancer is larger for thirty bucks less. But if you want DETAIL, boy is this the choice!
Keep your eye on this one, for sure.
