Rated 3 out of 5 by MHinMN Cape Clogs too short--again
I really wanted these to work because I love the gorgeous shade of blue, but they were too short, and not at all comfortable--though perhaps the bare wood wouldn't have bothered my feet 30 years ago. ;) The clogs i wore back then had traditional height heels, though. These don't appear significantly higher, but they're just high enough to cant the foot forward, smushing bare toes up against the end.
I usually wear a US 7.5 or 8 depending on the shoe, but most often a 7.5 Medium. Until now, I had considered Euro sizing more consistent, because a Euro 38 had always fit me perfectly. This and the 2nd pair of Cape Clogs i bought at the same time [unfortunately*] shattered that illusion, however. Both pairs were at least one US half size too short, and that was wearing no socks. With socks [not that anyone would wear socks with these], i'd say order up 2 sizes, which may sound crazy, but these were *seriously* short. [though the 2nd/flowered pair felt even shorter than these.]
If QVC offered free shipping like [ahem] every other seller of footwear on the planet, i may have tried a 39, but all sizes were sold out [in may 2016].
I should mention width. It was fine for me [barefoot], but if you have extra-wide feet, these would probably be too tight for you. They might stretch with time, or you could have them stretched, but that might be risky considering that the leather is just stapled to the wood.
