Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not scan This was my first Canon printer (I've owned other brands). I purchased it specifically for the scanner. Setup was very difficult, and the scanner has never worked. It does make good copies and prints.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Bother! I bought this yesterday and spent all day today setting it up. I had to call tech support, but I thought it was done. It prints wirelessly, but won't scan and that's what I need. I'm running Windows 10 and I can't find instructions for anything newer than 8. And it doesn't even scan with the cable. It really is horrible!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible scanner I have never had a scanner that takes 20 plus minutes to "auto scan" 10 pages... I can do it quicker by manually scanning each individual page! Not happy at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works for what I need I have had Canon printers since the 1990's. The oldest one died in 2009 and I replaced it with an MX340, worked well but wouldn't fax any more. Tried an Epson, but it's ink clogged, I did like that I could print on both sides. Got this one and it wasn't easy to set up, but I can WiFi and AirPrint. I don't like that I can't put the paper input tray up with paper in it; and it uses ink a lot. I don't use the printer daily, and I haven't used the fax yet. I would buy another Canon if this one goes. Would rather have the colors in separate cartridges.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Paper weight more than printer. I'm a network engineer and programmer. Purchased after my printer/scanner from another mfg was damaged in a move. This is probably the worse printer I have ever used. It can not hold a connection via WIFI to the driver. When it does "connect" it does not print, leaving jobs sitting in the que. The only way to get it to print is turn it off and wait a minute then print. This is the only time it seems to work and even then it's 50/50. Lack of scanning to USB is crazy too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst By far the worst printer I have ever had. Setting it up was such a hassle and my internet never stays connected to it, so I have to go through the whole process of connecting it with each time I would like to print. Not worth the time put into printing or the money. I stopped using it because it was so difficult and exhausting which totally defeats the purpose of buying it. Do not waste your money.
