I really like the small size of this camera. It's my favorite thing about the camera. However, there's just TOO much to learn/know about this camera and the settings are all on the screen with the tiny font and it's just impossible for me to make out most of the info - - even with readers on.
It does take great pictures, though. As good as the Canon T5. But, the sports setting is much slower, which is the main reason I want a camera of this caliber. To capture my kid's sports and other active moments. Also, the battery life is short. I could use the T5 daily for weeks without charging. I'm not talking taking 1000s of pics per day. But, 20-40 pics every other day of my two year old and game nights. This camera needs to be charged about every week. So you'd have to be careful about charging it frequently or keeping an extra charged battery available.
For the price, I just could not justify keeping the camera. For about $300 less, I can get another T5 (mine was damaged at the beach). It's big and bulky, but easier to use, sports setting is better and has a longer battery life.
It's not a bad camera - again - the pics are great. I thought the wifi would be a plus, but I never used it which tells me I likely seldom will. The small size is the best thing about this camera.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Selina R GREAT BEGINNER DSLR USER CAMERA
If you never used a DSLR camera this is a Great start.
I've used bigger DSLR in the past and I do love them, but this one if more convenient to take on go than lugging around d a big body camera.
Love the capability to connect with my phone.
Only thing I don't like is there is no Mic Input.
Other than that, great camera!
