Candle Impressions 6" Winter Bird Flameless Candle w/ Timer
I bought these for myself as a late Christmas present. I got all three, bluebird, woodpecker and nuthatch. They are absolutely beautiful. The bluebird is my favorite just like it is in real life but they are all very nice. They put out a lot of light. I'll be putting them up soon until next winter because they have snow and seem to be winter candles. I'll probably buy more to replace them! I think they'd be good Christmas presents for someone next year so I may order more for that.
Winter Blue Bird
I wanted a candle to go with the winter scene I set up for my table arrangement. This candle is beautiful and the soft hues blend well with my arrangement. The chubby little blue bird is so sweet! Have to go back and look at the spring/summer bird candles - might need to add one of them to my collection too!
I got the bluebird at first, quickly went back and ordered the other two! These are very well done. With great flickering lights!
Loving birds,i got all three!I would love to see a chickadee,a cardinal,etc.....They are so beautiful in my winter candle garden!!!Want more!
Birders Will Love
This is a lovely candle with soft, muted tones. I bought the nuthatch, one of my favorite birds. They creep upside down on trees to find insects and are fun to watch. Please bring other winter birds, maybe a cardinal, chickadee or titmouse. I would like to see the colors of the candle a bit darker to show up more, otherwise it is wonderful.
Nice Way to Bring Nature Indoors!
As a bird lover, once I saw these I had to order all three. The woodpecker is my favorite as we have many downeys that visit our yard each and every day. We also have red-breasted nuthatches that visit daily to feed at our peanut feeder. Our birds add so much joy & beauty to our lives and these candles are a wonderful way to add that beauty to the inside of our home. The details on our candles are vibrant and beautiful. These candles are high-quality, wonderful items that I think any bird lover would enjoy! Please keep them coming!
I am not a bird specialist, but bought 2; the bluebird and nuthatch; gave nuthatch to a friend and she said looks just like how they walk down trees; I really like the bluebird and the snow coming down. Have more CI than I can count :) Unless you want perfection, as another review stated, you will be pleased! Too sweet!
A Disappointed Birder
I love birds and own all of the Summer Bird candles series from Candle Impressions. I was SO excited to see these Winter Bird candles and immediately ordered all three. I was actually quite disappointed in them, and returned 2. I kept the Bluebird, even though a chubby baby/fledgling is depicted, and it certainly wouldn't be braving a snowfall in reality. The other two designs were so hazy and indistinct when lit that you couldn't even tell there were birds in the designs; they just looked like shapeless, nameless images of some sort in a blurry snowfall. The natural settings weren't very accurate, either. It might be a good idea for someone at Candle Impressions to consult with someone knowledgeable about birds before producing products that feature them. It wouldn't have to be an accredited ornithologist; most backyard birders could identify the most obvious flaws and help CI to avoid them. My primary reason for returning these candles though, is just that they weren't anywhere near as nice as the summer collection, and the images are too faint and obscure to be appreciated. On a positive note, the new timers are very easy to use; I gave one additional star for the timer.
Cool bird candle!
I purchased the Nuthatch candle and it displays a beautiful rendition of this bird. I have a pair that visit my feeder and they are a riot to watch, really do look at the world kind of upside down! Too funny! This candle's artwork is very well applied and the candle gives off a nice glow. Don't miss out, you won't be disappointed!
I received my flameless bird candles and love them. However, I just wanted to mention that woodpecker is not spelled as you have it on your description. Maybe it is just a typo but anyway woodpecker is not spelled woodpacker.
I have many Candle Impressions candles and this one does not disappoint! It looks just as beautiful when on as it does off. I bought the "Woodpecker" and just love it!!!!
Bought the Nuthatch and Woodpecker. The woodpecker is not that realistic, must be artist license. The woodpecker is way too fat, we have several in our back yard and have yet to see any that fat but will use for the Winter Season. They look very attractive on tall mercury glass candle stick holders while sitting on the mantle. Take a close look at the bird/birds you would be interested in buying. The Nuthatch is very delightful. I have many Candle Impression candles and will continue to buy them.
