For the price of this candle it is worth the money....looks like the flowers are blowing in the wind at night! You can never go wrong with C.I.

This is a very nice flameless candle. At least 10 + years ago I purchase a set of 6 small candle impressions from QVC . I would use them all the time and they came in handy when the power went out. They still work exactly like they did when I bought them - Wonderful quality and very nice to look at.

I purchased both the agapanthus and the iris candles. These are very beautiful, and I like the new programmable timer feature, as I enjoy these especially in the winter when nights are long. I have purchased other Candle Impressions flameless candles and have never been disappointed. They have a wonderful flickering glow that bring a warmth to any decor.

Quality is there with this! I purchased for my bedroom, and wish that I would have ordered two of them now. So pretty, really unique, and even smells good! Some flameless candles have an odor to them. I just LOVE this brand!

There is some appearance variation to be expected with these products. The color and design of mine are exactly as shown; the light is brighter, more yellow than the pictures would lead you to expect. ( QVC's candle pics, video generally look more orange)
Subjectively, i really like this one. When off, the color and design evoke a summer dusk by the sea; pale, slightly greenish sky above the water, faint wispy clouds maybe signifying a change in the weather to come, a tropic beach with tall, spindly exotic trees. On, a hazy sunset glow seen out over the water beyond the trees... (yes, they're supposed to be agapanthus flowers, but this is a very evocative design)
Reviews rarely describe the "flicker" ; how well it simulates an actual candle. All flameless candles i've seen have a very dramatic flicker, a candle outdoors effect, likewise with Candle Impressions**. The basic C.I. flicker is a background of small, rapid, random brightness changes, overlayed with a slower, smoother, deeper pulsing that waxes and wanes, also randomly. The QVC video closeups for H202257 shows the typical C.I flicker fairly well.
There is some variation as C.I. has changed their innards a number of times. With this particular candle as with the above, the pulsing seems dominant; a pleasant effect, even up close. (i have another newer C.I. model with a more edgy, jagged quality, as if the candle was nearly being blown out)
These, like other C.I. pillars are thick wax internally reinforced by the plastic electronic module housing, relatively rugged; i've never had any shipping damage.
Both timer functions work on mine, the setting instructions were clear. Timer candles typically seem to gain or lose a few seconds a day; mine gains 3 or 4.
One odd feature; the faint blinking yellow light by the switches on the bottom that indicates it's in timer mode. It probably doesn't affect battery life much but is visible in the dark at the base of the candle if that side is facing you.
** FYI ONLY:
The Luminara designs with an actual moving faux flame are an exception; across a room these might at first glance be mistaken for a real candle. Some of the LED only designs can be modified for a softer, more subtle "flicker" effect by the electronically inclined.
One particular C.I. design is very good; the small circuit board is easily accessible, the discrete, analog "back end" is readily modified, there is room for a few small additional components. I usually dim for increased battery life, generate a DC bias to reduce the depth of (flicker) modulation, a cap. filter to take the edge off; giving more of an indoor candle quality.
The older Enjoy Lighting 3-LED designs are the best. They have a spatial, wavering as well as flicker effect, and are the most versatile vis a vie mod's. Tho the electronic module is sometimes difficult to remove without damaging the thin wax shell, the PCB is spacious. You can remove a little or all of the flicker, keeping only the wavering effect, DC bias to make it all more subtle, even slow it down somewhat. The 6 volt operation leaves plenty of headroom for some or all warm-white LED's. The 3 LED's brighten & dim independently; some pretty and unusual effects are possible using multiple LED's in various colors, cross-connecting, etc. E.g. using the electronic module in a paper lantern if you break the candle shell.

I got the pussywillow at a closed out price. Most of my Candle Impressions are plain. This one is marbleized & jazzes up my living room. Highly recommend!
