Calista Tools Set of 12 Ion Hot Rollers with Clips & Travel Bag
I Have 3 Sets Medium And Just Ordered Long!!!!!!
Great at home and on the go. By the time you finish the roll you are just about ready to remove for great waves. I have arthritis and can no longer use round brush or curling iron. Too much stress on my hands. Perfect solution. I even use on my daughters hair. She now calls my bathroom the hair dalton in the morning. Luv luv luv these.
I regretted ordering these for my tween and teenage, long haired, grandaughters without reading the reviews and it was too late to cancel once I did. They came yesterday, and my 11 year old grandaughter who has hair past her shoulders and it is soooo thick it's unreal, was my first test, I knew it wouldn't work. Well, she ended up in 10 minutes with amazingly fluffy soft curls! Was astounded! So was her older sister who has really long frizzy curly hair. We did her next, worked just great on her hair too. She got amazing soft curls too and none of her trademark frizz. They did each others hair again this morning for school. I guess we'll be keeping these! Have a 8 year old grandchild who loves "Big bar hair" I'm sure she'll be doing her own hair in no time. I didn't have much trouble with burning myself on them. The end is warm and if you touch the textured portion of the barrel it is HOT, but they are HOT rollers. The girls did just fine with them. I would like to of had extra clips. The info book suggests using 2 for each of the long rollers and only supply 1. But it worked just fine. Very pleased!! So are the girls, they love their Gma. Thanks QVC.
It works like a gem!
I have only used these once but they did exactly as QVC demonstrated - they heat quickly, are easy to handle, and curl your hair!
I am sorry these are just terrible. I so wanted them to work tried three times on my hair and they burnt me, clips don't hold and curl is not so great. I love your products you gave on Q, but these not so good.
Love these hot rollers, unlike the CHI which burned my head, they do the job and the curl lasts. I wish I could buy the LARGE rollers separately, that's why I tried the CHI - OMG - not only burned my head, but hair was frizzy. Anyway, these Calistas are great - best ever and they work.
Found the extra long rollers hard to handle
Rollers showed up with one of them chipped on end, (didn't affect function, but thought that wasn't good). I have long hair and got the long blue rollers, found them difficult to handle due to the length. I LOVE my Perfector from Calista Tools, but don't care for these rollers.
Ordered different brand hot rollers QVC offers, like them a lot better. Just shipped this set back.
Love love love these curlers. I've used many hot curlers in my life time but these are absolutely the best. You will love them.
Curl Does Not Last; Hot To Handle
Definitely not worth the price. Rollers are hard to handle, due to being too hot at the ends. Curl falls out quickly, even with styling products. The clips did not hold the rollers well. Giving 2 stars because they heat quickly and decent carrying case. Sorry I did not return them within the 30 day period!! Have since purchased the Perfector hot brush, hoping it will work better.
I so wanted these to be AWESOME. I have been growingmy hair out for years. The back is below my bra strap. My banges have been hard to grown out but are finally below by Chin at about 10 inches long. I was so excited to find the long curlers. I used them once. When I unrolled by banges they looked like straw. They were dry and crisp. It's like all my hard work with not using curling irons on my hair was gone and hair destroyed in one use. The could not go backin the box fast enough. Not sure if my banges are going to have to be cut now and not just trimmed. I am so mad. And I got no curl to speak of. I looked like Charles Angels and my husband just laughed at me. Not the soft bouncy curls I was going for. Would NEVER recommend this product.
Same old - same old
I got these curlers because I thought they were different from the old time electric hair curlers we used to have years ago - I was wrong. These were just as frustrating and difficult to use as the old ones. I was a hairdresser at one time so it's not like I don't know how to use them. I have short, very thin, very limp hair and using these curlers burnt my fingers trying to roll my hair on to them. Frustration got the best of me and I sent them back the same day.
I have used hot rollers for decades and had really high hopes for this set but I was sadly disappointed. Not hot enough and did nothing that less expensive sets that I have owned were able to do to my hair. I feel like I threw away $100.00.
