Achieve Salon-Worthy Style & Shine

What is it: A professional-quality heated round brush designed to give you beautiful, "just back from the salon" style. Use it to smooth, direct, lift, volumize, and curl hair like a pro!

Maria McCool created the Perfecter with Fusion Heat: ceramic and ionic technology combined to infuse hair with body and shine. Its sturdy bristles glide through hair and protect hands and scalp from heat.

Who is it for: All hair types: thin to thick, straight to curly, fine to coarse. Choose the 1" barrel if you have short hair and the 1-1/2" barrel if you have medium to long hair.

Why is it different: With a wider heat range and a digital setting for added ease of use, this Perfecter gives you an even better styling experience. Soft Touch grip allows for a more secure hold, while dual inside heaters produce quick, even heat for professional results.

How do I use it: Use on dry hair only. Plug in and hold the On/Off button for about three seconds to turn it on. If your hair is fine or over-processed, choose a lower temperature setting; coarse or heavy hair will need a higher setting. The LCD will blink until your desired temperature is reached (takes approximately three minutes).

Brush approximately 2" sections from scalp to ends, two to three times, to detangle, remove product, and preheat section for styling.

Use slow strokes to help smooth your hair. Add more tension to straighten.

When creating waves or curls, do not wind hair more than 2.5 times around the brush. Once you've rolled hair in, hold for 5 to 10 seconds (based on your hair's ability to hold a curl).

For long hair, achieve spiral curls by starting at the root, holding the Perfecter vertically, and rotating downward, spinning the hair through the brush for the softest, natural-looking curl.

Styling tip: For longer-lasting results, spray each section after styling with Calista Complete Texturizing Spray with ProElement (not included). When you are happy with your overall style, lightly spray hair all over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PERFET I used to blow-dry my hair, but I stopped to let it dry naturally. Once my hair is dry I use the Perfecter and my hair looks amazing. Now, I am not over doing it with my shoulders and less pain. I believe it will make my hair healthier eventually since I stopped using the hair dryer. I also purchased one for my sister after giving it a try, and she loves it. 01-19-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by not worth it I purchased this item almost 2 years ago. I made the mistake of getting the large barrel as my hair was short. i tried to use it on three occasions but realized I need to put it up till my hair was longer. i went to use it a couple of days ago and it is completely dead. was way to expensive to stop working when it had been used so little. I am the only one in my household so I know it was not mishandled. Very disappointed. 01-19-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Replaces Curling Irons This has been a great buy. Does not dry out my hair like curling irons. Use it the day I do not wash my hair and it brings my hair back to life. 01-16-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by A MUST HAVE LOVE this purchase! Completely worth the price tag, it curls and straightens so easily. The material the barrel is made of is the key, seriously no static, no frizz, no DAMAGE. It's great for 2nd day hair and I trust it enough to use on my daughters hair. 01-15-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Purchased in Sept and I prob use 3 times/wk. When I went for hair cut in Jan, my stylist of 8 yrs asked what I was using on my hair. I had noticed the breakage up front, but she could see it everywhere else. What usually is a good trim/shape every 2 mo is now going to be a hair cut to get my hair healthy again. I hope it works for others, but for me it will never touch my hair again. 01-09-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by Works great...until it doesn't...then you're out $ I loved the perfecter. For 7 months. Then it simply stopped working. Nothing happened to it, it simply stopped warming up (it said it was but the surface was cold). Of course, I had just paid it off (got it on 6 EZ pays) and my 30 day return was long gone. So I contacted Calista - they told me they couldn't help me and I had to contact their distributor and deal with them. When I finally got ahold of someone the said they would replace it - for an ADDITIONAL $25!! As my mom always said "No way, Jose!" I had thought long and hard before buying a $90 curling iron in the first place, and now they want me to give them another $25 to replace a defective product (which was still under warranty?). So I called Q customer service - and they rock. They allowed me to send it back for a full refund. The 2 stars I gave the product are only because Q customer service took care of me. Otherwise I would have ideally given NO stars for Calista's product and customer service alone. I found a curling iron on amazon for $25, which works just as well (and, when I looked at the fine print -- it is made by Calista for way less money - an early model, just fewer bells and whistles). If you want to try this, I'd recommend that - less money lost if it doesn't last.... 01-07-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Purchase Ever I bought this from QVC April 2014 and I've had no problems at all--not one bristle has broken off, no heating issues. To clean, I use the pointy end of a rat-tail comb and gently move it vertically between bristle area to loosen hair, then remove it with my fingers. I've gotten many compliments on my hair, including my hair stylist. The bag that came with it is a plus & wonderful for traveling. Another plus, my styling time in the morning is quicker compared to a flat iron--I do use a flat iron on my bangs for more control. I'd buy the smaller size, if QVC carried it again, for when my hair is shorter. 12-31-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Calista has the worst customer servoice ever WORST PURCHASE EVER. Love the Perfecter but it stopped working after 9 month. No worries I have a guarantee. Called QVC they said to return to Calista. I followed the instruction in their return booklet and enclosed my check. That was in October. I have not heard anything from them. I sent 2 more letter since then but no response whatsoever. Great customer service huh? Since I loved the Perfecter I ordered another one and thought I would get resolve on the first one. Nothing yet! Great customer service huh? They are awful. I am now trying to call QVC to get this resolved. If the customer service is bad there is no sense in buying this product. 12-29-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I have long fine hair and I love using this product. Can't see myself ever using another heated curler. Please bring back in the large and please please make this in a 2" barrel. Extrremely east to clean, just use an old fashioned hair brush. 12-22-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Gets dirty in between bristles and hard to clean Felt the product worked well, but it gets a lot build up from products in between the bristles of the wand. They give you a little "pick" to help clean, but it doesn't work very well. Some of the stuff ends up in your hair... 12-14-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fine Thin Hair Bomb Ugh. This dumb thing didn't do a thing for my fine limp hair and to top it all off, it stopped heating up after using it maybe 20 times. I tried. If I used hair product to help it work, my fine hair would get tangled in the brushes. Epic fail. 12-09-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a good value This product just did a so-so job. I gave it more than one chance. I have curly hair and have tried many products to keep body and soften the curl. Heated rollers have been the best option. This worked just ok but for the price it just wasn't worth it. Lower priced options have worked just as well or better than this product so I returned it. 12-05-15
