Calista Tools Embellish Texturizing Definer with ProElement
I should have returned this product the first day I tried it! However I gave the qvc video online a few more tries to see if I just was not using the product right. This product came from the same company as my curling iron, and I love that product and expected the add on product to give me even better results.
Perhaps WEN is such a great product I expected the same from [performance from another product purchased from QVC. Maybe the two just don't mix, but WEN makes my hair so great. it feels like it did when I was 20! Calista Texturing just makes a mess.
I tried this product for the first time and it felt like a sticky mess. Did nothing for my fine hair - I'm sending it back.
Didn't work for me
Didn't seem to do much for me and left white "strings" in my hair after applying. Returned the product
Works Great... HOWEVER......
This product does work wonders on fine, short hair. I wear my hair "punk/emo" style and Calista Testurizing Definer does it's job! I pump a small pea size and "smish" it between my finger tips.. then piece it through my hair ends. Don't go down to the scalp.. it isn't meant for that. The reason I only gave it 3 starts is because I don't like the coconut smell and it does flake on my shoulders. I almost returned it but it works so good!!
Gives your hair body, does not stay in place and if you put hair spray it flattens your hair
This product does what it is supposed to do. It makes my hair easier to style and the style lasts. I recommend it.
YOU WILL LOVE THIS !
Love this product. Adds nice texture to my baby fine hair. and it lasts all day. I would recommend to anyone looking for a little help with a textured hair style, it's fun to play with.
I have super straight, fine hair and wear it very short. This is the best product I have found. No need to blow dry or curl. Only a small amount is needed and the look you get is like salon terrific. I can't believe I waited so long to try this product.
Not good for heavy or long hair
I have very heavy just past the shoulder hair. It used to be super thick (like hair that women give their right arm for)... but after a baby and hitting 30, it's thinned out a little. Still heavy. At first, I thought I'd used too much, so on my second try, I used less. Third try, less, Fourth try.... barely any. Each time it left my hair greasy and flat. My mother, on the other hand, has super short thin hair. I used it on her and it was amazing. I didn't return because it lifts her crown in the perfect place and just works wonders. But I would definitely NOT recommend if you have heavy/ not thin hair.
Amazing! Perfect for Thin, Fine Hair!
I'm purchasing my 3rd container of this product. I have short, thin, fine hair and used dozens of products before finding this. It lasts me for about 3 months with bi-weekly use. If you use it as directed, it works perfectly. You must put a small amount into your hands, rub them together until the product is clear, then clap your hands together 4 or 5 times, THEN run your hands through your hair. It works for me EVERY single time. I highly recommend it. I get compliments often. It gives my fine, thin hair body and lift with no other products needed except for a touch of hair spray.
I too have very short and thin hair. I have been using it for over a year and love it. More expensive products in the salon have not done the job for me. "Different strokes for different folks" I guess. A little goes a long way. I purchase another one today. One bottle lasted me 6 months.
Works ok - but hard to dispense!
The product seems to work fairly well, but I've used other products that do about the same but cost a lot less. Also, it is hard to dispense the product, and control how much you dispense. I'm afraid it is going to be even more difficult when I reach the bottom. Probably should have returned, but didn't.
