Calista Tools Embellish Texturizing Definer with ProElement
Was not for me.
The Calista Tools Embelish Texturizing had to much perfume smell. I have a problem with that. I would have appreciated when they presented the item, if they would have said that.it had a perfume smell. I would not have purchased this item, now I have to pay for the price of the postage to return it. My face got red and started to swell, along with my eyes getting t red and swollen. The embelish worked just fine.
Makes hair DIRTY
I honestly wanted to give this a good try before writing a review.
I have a short pixie cut, and have been using it daily for a whole week. I put a Pantene styling creme in my hair while wet, then blow dry, apply this, then spray in place with hair spray. In the beginning, it makes my hair really cute. I have baby fine hair, and yes it gives me added body for the first hour. But, then something happens, and my hair starts to droop, even with hairspray, and by lunch time it just looks "dirty".
I'll go back to using Pantene styling creme until I find something better.

I tried for days to make this product work. This is the worst QVC purchase I have ever made. Don't waste your money. All I got was a gummy and sticky goo.
This did nothing for my fine hair, but made it sticky. Threw it away.
waste of money
this product was nothing like i thought it would be. very sticky, made hair feel dirty. it was messy. would not recommend this product to any one. i have sent both my bottles back for refund. I was very disappointed.
Sticky, messy, no style
After seeing the results at the presentation I was anxiously waiting for the delivery. How disappointing! It was sticky and extremely difficult to apply throughout my hair. I had absolutely no style at all. To make matters worse, the "strands" that are created while clapping were everywhere and not that easy to clean up.
Sticky, greasy paste
I find it hard to believe this is the same product shown in the presentations. When I put the smallest amount in my hands to try to get the 'fibers' it was just a sticky, messy paste. It comes out like white glue & never turns to anything like the fibers demonstrated by clapping hands together. I even tried varying amounts & it never did. In the hair it just makes your hair look greasy & will not lift. Not sure if I got an old product that was changed by age or temperatures, but clearly something is wrong. I returned.
maybe for straight hair
I tried this on my medium length curly hair and it didn't do much except make my hair very sticky. It probably does wonders on straight hair giving it lift and lots of body, but just made my hair a sticky mess.
I was really excited to try this after watching how the models hair effortlessly became voluminous but when I tried it - my hair went flat soon after application. I have long layered hair but it didn't give me the new full look like the models :( maybe it's better for women with short hair.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I didn't think this product was what it was touted to be. I was careful to use it as directed and applied it to my dry, thick, fine hair for texture and lift at the top of my head. It certainly didn't lift anything, but the tackiness of the product did provide some texture. It would probably be cheaper to just buy dry shampoo which also thickens hair. I still have a few days left before I have to decide, but this will probably be going back. Not impressed.
1st purchase ever
Was very excited when I watched the video.
Unfortunately, being slightly handicap in my right hand I can't get those great dos.
But I'm working on it.
I'm hoping to get better at my techinque.
