Rated 1 out of 5 by Meh Purchased this after seeing how it worked on short hair on air. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it, and thought the attachment designed to help with lift and the round brush would be great. I tried it on dry hair, damp hair, read the instructions, watched the video---nothing. Used Wen mousse and Wen volumizer, and that did not improve results.Have much better results using my fingers/round brush and blow dryer The attachments were easy to remove but you need to press the buttons on the side and anyone with limited dexterity or finger strength, e.g., arthritic hands, could have a problem.. 08-18-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by A VERY PRICEY BAD DEAL For ME, this product is a very pricey, bad deal, because I found it a nightmare to use. The circumference of the "handle" is enormous (and I have large hands), to the point that its light weight is worthless. My hair is as short as "Stephanie's" who was in the big on-air demonstration, getting spiked, smoothed and curved, with the various attachments. Right. Absolutely useless on my baby fine hair, and even with a beautiful short cut, this only raked the scalp, or didn't grab my hair at all. Holding my hair around the round brush attachment was not a problem, but its circumference is just too large to give any body, lift or even curve. My hair fell flat. Just not worth the price to me, compared to the little travel hair dryer and round brush I've successfully been using. "Upgrading" is NOT necessarily a good thing. Back it goes, in its very fancy packaging. Not for me. 08-08-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by So Happy I Purchased This I ordered this the day it premiered on QVC and have been using it almost 2 full months...and I love it! I've always struggled with trying to do a blow-out at home, there's just too much going on with brushes, blow dryers, hair clips, etc. It always seemed like I could do a portion of my hair but the rest just looked awful. With this airbrush I finally have been able to do a true "blow-out", the beachy waves look, even curl all my hair downward into a lob (I have about shoulder-length hair). The round brush is my favorite attachment but the paddle brush is really good for smoothing out fly-aways and baby hairs around my hairline. The heat settings are good too, the hottest setting is really hot. To be much smaller in size than most dryers this one packs a pretty strong punch. My only concern is accidently breaking off the piece where the attachments connect to the dryer - I can be really rough on hair tools sometimes. But I'm contemplating ordering a backup airbrush just for when I do finally tear something up. The dryer seems really well made and if I'm willing to pay $100 just to have a spare hanging around then I definitely recommend it! 08-04-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't work for me I have had my eye on this for a while and the extra attachments tipped me over. I have wrist problems and was looking for an easier way to blow out my hair and hoped that having one device would help. But my hair used to be really short and now it grazes my shoulders. I think it was too long. It took me 40 minutes plus to do - it fried my ends so they were super frizzy. My hair never looked right and I felt embarrassed to go out. I am able to blow my hair out with my regular round brush in 15 minutes by way of comparison. It sort of defeated the purpose for me. Tried 5x...no love. I have thick half Asian Caucasian hair - super straight, thick, but not coarse, lots of it. The attachments were also hard to detach - And hot. I would grab them with a towel to remove them so I wouldn't burn my fingers. 07-30-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Round brush attachment needs improvements. I purchased but I had to return. I purchased ONLY for the round brush attachment to use for volume during my blow outs. I have medium length hair, the round brush attachment bristles were WAY too short. The bristles need to be longer for my hair to hold and stay on the brush. My hair would keep blowing off. Please Maria, make the round brush bristles longer and I will re-purchase. 07-27-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wouldn't hold on to hair Really wanted this to work I tried other style Calista brush style tools and have returned them as I will this one. Like the others they don't hold shorter fine hair. My hair slip right through ... Needs a smaller diameter brush with a better grip. On the other hand I love her embellishment it gives my fine hair lift, texture and hold a style. 07-25-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile hair tool I have medium length hair and don't always want it real straight so this tool gives body and height if and when I need it. Lots of tool options help in getting the look I want. Tool options are easy to get off and on. 07-12-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by LOVE ... But .... I tried the Caj dryer brush last year and hated it so it was returned. I ordered this Calista dryer on wait list and was so excited when it finally arrived. I used the round brush and it dried my hair quickly and easily and my hair looked great! If it stopped here it would have gotten 5 stars. But then I tried to remove the brush attachment so that I could try a different one and I couldn't get the brush off. It was very frustrating. I still haven't gotten it off. There must be a learning curve even though I followed the instructions. 07-11-16
