I received this a few days ago, and the first time I tried it on I was wearing a nightgown. It didn't look so good. The next morning, after getting dressed in black leggings, a v neck shirt by Lori Goldstein, and some high sandals, I tried it on again. Totally different experience! I can not wait till Fall, when I will wear it with high riding boots, and a fabulous scarf. I looked chic, and cool, instead of frumpy. With a billowing nightgown I looked like I had just rummaged thru the Salvation Army bin and put on anything I found. It has that great masculine look with the tweed, and shape, but on a woman it is ultra feminine. It does have bulky shoulders, which I like, but may be too much for women who already have big shoulders. It does narrow your waist though.
I would not recommend this as a gift, since it is a very specific style. If you do purchase it make sure you give it a chance by trying it on with the clothing you would actually be wearing it with!

I can see how the cut of this jacket would not work for everyone, but I love it. I am a hefty 5'8" and like the elongating effect. It is a tad macho but sometimes we need that, girls! The merlot color is not too dramatic and will blend in well with browns,or greens. It is very well constructed and looks pricey.

The shoulders and arms fit great, the rest of it was just enormous.... I could have put three watermelons in it, Two for the girls, one for the belly. It went down to my knees and I'm not a small or petite lady. It was just too big and not constructed correctly. This is not modified mens ware. This seems to be designed by a little person that has never even put on a man's blazer or jacket. Just really, really bad.
Can not help with sizing, it was just that bad.
Rated 5 out of 5 by plain Jane sizing is spot on
I almost went down a size to a M. Usually I am a L. I'm very glad I stayed with my usual size. I'm 5'6'' 175lbs with fairly wide shoulders. The fit is perfect. This is a lovely light coat. Nicely made and exquisite fabric.
Don't hesitate to buy it.

I've been looking for a great tweed/herringbone boyfriend jacket for a long time. I've seen this one before and have been admiring it for a long time. This one certainly fits the bill for me. And the best thing? I bought this as a lunchtime special about a week ago at almost half the price it is now. The bummer is that I 'listened' to others who reviewed it and indicated sizing down. I bought xsmall and should have bought my regular size in a jacket/coat for a small.
It arrived yesterday not packaged very nicely as a coat b/c it came in a plastic bag instead of a large box. But no worries, I unwrapped it, tried it on and WOW is this a GREAT one or what??!! I LOVE the bordaux color tweed. I'll treat this as a neutral and will wear it with anything. LOVE the shape of this too. The xsmall fits but a small would have been better. I'm not exchanging for a larger size - too much of a hassle.
I highly recommend this one but stay true to y our size for an outer coat. I love that I only spent $56.00 too instead of $82??!! I don't call this a clearance price - too expensive now so I am SO glad I got it at a reasonable reduced price. LOVE IT!!!!!

Thought that this jacket would look more interesting once I got it home, but no such luck. My 1x size ran narrow especially in the hips (an area that is usually not a problem for me). Hated the heaviness of the jacket and the boring material and color. It was like wearing a carpet (or upholstery as someone mentioned). This jacket has no style and the material just adds heaviness to the body. May work on someone tall and thin. someone who likes to just blend into the crowd.

This jacket would be worth every penny of the QVC regular price. I received it this afternoon, and could not wait to try it on. Yes, it runs a little large - it is supposed to! It is a boyfriend jacket. And may I say it is "right on trend" with everything being shown in the hottest style magazines for this season! The garment construction is immaculate! Thank you QVC and Cristina Ehrlich for such a wonderful jacket!
Rated 1 out of 5 by very happy 7 This is huge!
Ordered in my usual 3X, and I found this "jacket" to be more of a coat, very heavy and huge. I'm 5'8", and it hung like a zoot suit, about 5" from my knees. However, the sleeves were not roomy enough to use as a coat in this size. I think the fabric was kind of masculine, almost like what you might find as upholstery. I'm so disappointed - it's hard to find toppers long enough, but this is way too big and long. Returning.
