Brother LB6800-PRW Project Runway Sewing/Embroidery Machine
SUPERLOVE this BROTHER LB6800
I SUPERLOVE this machine so much. I have several sewing machines but this is the best so far. I love the embroidery function, very user friendly and easy to use. You will not regret buying a machine like this. Thanks Brother and QVC for making it affordable.
I love this machine and highly recommend it to anyone. It is a great beginner machine but just as good for a more advanced sewer. I am a quilter and own Pfaffs and Babylock machines but love this machine just the same. It sews like a beauty and it has the automatic cutter and threader just like the higher end machines. The best part it is super user friendly so anyone can get started on this machine literally within minutes. The bonus is the rolling bag that comes with it as these can be pricey and not very attractive and this one is very hip and stylish! The only downside is the small embroidery hoop but if you are not looking to do BIG embroidery projects than this is perfect. You will not regret buying this machine. I am buying it for my 10 year old daughter and easy pay helps a million so thank you QVC!
1st purchase from QVC
The machine arrived promptly and was very easy to set up. I am primarily interested in the embroidery function. For some reason the bobbin thread kept coming up into the designs I was attempting to make. I checked with Brother and was a little disappointed in their response. They suggested I tighten the tension of the upper thread. That made no difference. Also, it seemed like the stitches were too tight and tended to pucker the fabric.
After two broken needles and a few ruined designs, I sent the machine back . QVC was outstanding in their handling of the matter. I'll be back in the future.
I have been wanting a combo sewing/embroidery machine and decided on this one because of the great price and great ratings it had. Glad I did! The instructions are clear and concise. Bobbin winding, thrieading the needle (so easy compared to my former
sewing machine) and sewing is so easy! The machine is so quiet, too. I can't wait to
start the embroidery part. The rolling cart is a plus, also.
Can't go wrong with this wonderful machine!
I'm In Heaven
I had a machine but it broke, have been on the fence for awhile about a machine and broke down and decided to buy one. I saw this limited edition and couldnt help myself because it combine embroidery and sewing. I am a beginner quilter and this compared to my old machine is just like living in heaven. Its a breeze to thread, simply too easy to wind a bobbin. I havent tried the embroidery just yet...still learning, but bought a jelly roll and got started on my first quilt using this machine and have all of my strips pieced in one weekend!!! So smooth to sew!!! I almost lost my mind when I saw the price of embroidery thread butI can imagine, if this machine sews the way it embroiders, I will be very happy. It comes with an instructional DVD that helps me alot. I loaded it on my computer and watched as I was setting up the machine, it only took me a few minutes to learn it and off I went!!! I cant say enough...I am very happy with the machine. I was completely surprised when I realized that I didnt have to use the foot peddle either....!!! All push button functioning...what a dream!!!
Love the Machine!
I am a quilter and have some more expensive brand name sewing machines and embroidery machines (Juki, Bernina, Babylock) but this little machine is wonderful! Took me about 10 minutes to set up adn start. Easy instructions. Easy bobbin, easy threading, great thread cutter. It purred like a kitten. You can't lose with this machine. I have not tried the embroidery unit yet, but have high hopes.
Same as the se400, I think
I have the SE400, and it looks like this is the same machine, only this one has the rolling cart with it, and is Project Runway. So based on the machine I have, I would highly recommend it. It is easy to use, sews very smoothly, and the embroidery is great.
The SE400 has probably been discontinued, so this is the best bet for a dual machine that sew and embroiders, and you don't have to pay a fortune for it.
