Owners Jerry and Terry Kohl pride themselves on what they call the "Brighton Difference" — a philosophy that the difference is in the details. Brighton's design team travels all over the world for inspiration, sketching each new product by hand. Wood carvers create models that capture the drawings' intricate details. From that, a rubber mold is made for the first castings, then a steel mold for the final production. The hand assembly of Brighton's Italian-leather accessories often requires as many as 140 individual manufacturing steps — using up to 40 different parts!
From the beginning, Jerry and Terri wanted to have a different type of business, built from the heart with personal service as a priority. Many things have changed over the years, but one thing remains the same — their commitment to exceptional quality and beauty.
