Breville Fast Slow Pro is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it It is easy to use once reading the instruction book that comes with it. I have tried several recipes from the recipe book and they have come out perfectly. I have encountered a couple issues, which can be overcome. One is that the pan retains an odor. You can do a cycle with lemons that helps, or put the pan outside to air out. Also it has been suggested to buy an extra pan, one for savory and one for desserts. The next issue is getting almost to pressure then getting the dreaded ding that there is not a seal.. Well, I have learned that the pin needs to be exactly in the middle. So that means not tightening the lid all the way, just almost all the way. There is a facebook group that helps out and shares recipes. All in all, I love this appliance. I have made some really good dishes, both with the pressure cooker settings and slow cooker settings. Breville never disappoints! (To be fair, this is my first pressure cooker. I have tons of experience with slow cookers, but I cannot say how it compares to other pressure cookers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Complicated It's expensive and looks great on the counter. However, it is so complicated to use, it's useless. It takes forever to preheat, so you don't save any time by using it. I just gave up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Takes a while to come up to pressure Final product turns out good with this pressure cooker, but if you are looking for a time saver, this probably isn't it. I had an older cooks essentials one with the dial knob that cooked under pressure a lot faster than this one. Unfortunately the timer didn't count down correctly, so I had to time everything myself. The pressure valve housing broke or I would still be using it. This pressure cooker is definitely made better than my old one, just takes longer to prepare a roast with vegetables since you have to cook the roast first, then release pressure and add vegetables, then wait again until it gets up to pressure again. So, coming up to to pressure is my only complaint about it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Very Good Hooked it all up as soon as I got it. Looked really nice. The buttons need a harder pressure to operate than I would think. Disappointed that there is pre-heat only on bake & 'turbo bake'. Could only get it up to 315F even though I put the temp setting to 450F which is the highest it can go. It didn't look as though the top element was working correctly, and if so a poor design. Pre-heat times are very long.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Breville cooker good for the young at heart I got this and was very happy until I read the directions. What a sorry bunch there is of them and I took 3 days to read all and still didn't know what the heck I supposed to do, like where to go to start it. I am a senior and like they say you can't teach old dogs new tricks and that applied to me. I did try it just once and that was on slo cooker and burned the meat. It is being returned ..sorry I will get the one that doesn't cost this much and not be afraid to use it. Sorry

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny! After many years of ignoring my stove top model (so noisy, so tricky to manage, and sooo scary), I tried a programmable, modestly priced, electric pressure cooker. The time came to replace it and, after doing my homework, the options became clear: spend an affordable amount and replace it again in a couple of years, or spend the cash for a higher priced unit that will last. Feeling that the cheaper course would be a waste of money, I opted for the latter. The difference in the final product - the food - is amazing! The unit is easy to program and use, it cleans up like a dream, and the quality difference between this and my earlier electric cooker is substantial. Only time will tell if it will need replacement down the road, but if someone is hold off because of the price - SPEND THE MONEY! It is worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Multi Cooker Ever I adore Breville products in general. I have the Smart Oven and am so thankful I got it. The Smart Oven cooks better than my gas range oven. This Cooker is a Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker and so much more. Breville products are expensive but they are SOOOOO worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This has to be the best electric pressure cooker on the market! I purchased a much cheaper pressure cooker previously and returned it after a few weeks. I loved the idea of pressure cooking though , so I went on a search to find the BEST and this is it. No worries using this like with the cheaper brands, I simply set it and I do not have to worry that it won't come to pressure or that it will randomly turn off. The smart settings are truly amazing, you can choose how you want the pressure to release and not have to touch a thing other than a button before you start cooking. I love all of the cooking options but have not tried them all yet. The rice is the best we ever had. I did purchase separately elsewhere a six quart 18/10 stainless steel insert pot and recommend doing the same. The pot it comes with is great but non stick just doesn't cook like stainless. It is nice having two pots for when I am cooking meat and a side. This is pricy but Breville is top of the line and worth it.
