Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sounding Radio This arrived on Thursday. Immediately unpacked it and hooked it up. Great sound -easy to operate. Exactly what I was looking for. Bose makes high quality speakers and I expected the same from their radios.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Utter Garbage, Great Marketing Though The title says it all but I'll expand a bit. This Bose Wave Radio has one (1) primary function: to play compact discs. It doesn't succeed. It refuses to play the first track of any CD I shove in its mouth. When it does decide to play a disc it skips around aimlessly and often restarts a track for no apparent reason. Bose has the marketing piece quite nailed, now it needs to work on quality control. There's no justification for an item this costly - with their name on it - to fail to play every disc flawlessly. My discs are all in pristine condition, so that's not a contributing factor to its failure as a disc player. Additionally, this occurs with every type of disc, whether store bought or homemade, lossless and/or mp3. I do realize this is one (1) Bose Wave Radio player owned by one (1) Bose Wave Radio customer. But shouldn't they all play compact discs in every instance? I thought so.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was excited to try a Bose radio but very disappointed when I got it .. it only supported certain stations in Chicago and the sound was horrible .. i had it up to 62 and could not hear it clearly .. an expensive alarm clock that doesn't work properly

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love But Have To Return Love the Bose but have to return. Did not realize how big this radio is and much too large for my bedside table. Also, wanted to use as an alarm in the mornings. Only has a remote control and it does not light up at night. The radio itself has no buttons, so if I want to do something other than turn on or off, I have to put on a light to see the small remote that comes with the Bose. Good radio but not for me needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice radio BOSE makes amazing products and the sounds are incredible. I like this radio but for the price I would have liked to have seen a date feature on this radio. Not many options come with this model. I purchased the iPod dock seperately and found that no FM antenna was included but is located in the power cord. The volume is very low on this model to hear anything, I had to turn the volume to almost 40 to hear anything playing. Overall nice radio though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Second Bose Radio I first purchased a Bose radio/cd combination in the 1990s. My puppy chewed the cord (unplugged) off' it three years ago. I searched intermittently for a replacement radio but I either did not like the features offered or the Bose Radios were too expensive since my budget was tighter at the time I was delighted find this radio with six easy pay offers in 2015.making it very affordable for my budget. The sound is wonderful and the sleek design fits nicely with my decor. I am considering purchasing a second Bose for my office since the radio I have there now is not of the same quality as my Bose. I do not miss not having a CD player since I no longer listen to them. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks QVC for making this radio affordable!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Touch Top a Problem I have 3 Bose Wave radios - 2 older models without the touch top and one new model with touch top. If you have a cat, like I do, they like to curl up on it which turns it off if you have the touch top model. I wish Bose would go back to making a version without the touch top. The remote works just fine - the touch top is just a gimmick. The sound on the Bose is good, but frankly the iHome I recently bought sounds just as good for 1/4 the price and no touch top controls.
