Bose Wave Music System Multi-CD Changer
Had to Have
To complete my Bose system a must have, only QVC had the price I could afford. So happy with purchase.
Such a Disappointment
We just bought a Bose Wave III and love it!! The sound is fantastic. We're hearing things on our CD's that we never noticed before. Subtle instruments in the background etc. We decided to get the Multi-CD changer to enhance our system. NOT! So disappointed. First off we couldn't get the unit to respond to any of our commands via the remote (the only way to operate this player) ...and yes, we went over the couple cords that needed to be attached for a complete installation. NO brainer there. Anyway, we pushed in our CD - no it does not grab it and take it in like the main system does. This one you have to push in yourself. After we put the 1 CD in the lights on the unit, by their color, said we had CD's in all 3 slots. NOT Couldn't get the equipment to acknowledge even the one CD being there - it wouldn't play it. Anyway, we were immediately put off by the fact that such problems were not what we paid a total of $275 for. The unit is going right back. We'll just be happy with what we have and enjoy the music!
Not working again
My unit has been the most unreliable electronic device I own. Disks get stuck in the unit. The device stopped working just after the warranty expired. I sent (and paid for) the unit for repair to Bose, it was returned to me within a week, the CD changer worked for 6 mos. then CD stuck in the machine and the whole changer became usless again.
I purchased my Bose cd player almost 4 years ago. After only 2 years I had to send it back for repairs at the cost of $75;00. Now less than 2 yrs later its having the same problem. I'm not willing to pay again so I'll just have to chalk it up. My reason for purchasing a Bose & paying the price was because I thought I was getting a top of the Line product that would last for years. Unfortunately for me that was not the case. I just wanted to share my experience not to bash Bose but for anyone considering this investment to realize it may not be exactly what they're expecting. Thank you for allowing me this forum.
I have owned a Bose stereo for a couple of years & even had one in my car. Bose gives the greatest sound that can be found! I've been wanting the multi CD changer for quite awhile & so happy that QVC had it on easy-pay! Yes, Bose is expensive but really worth it & when it's offered on easy-pay then it becomes affordable. Treat yourself, your ears deserve the ultimate hearing experience & the changer makes the stereo even more versatile.LOVE IT!
This is the first product I returned to QVC for shoddy workmanship. I called BOSE Tech Support for help with mechanical noises when discs were playing and especially loud noises when changing to another disc. Their answer was " Live with it".
very cheap sounding
Makes lots of mechanical noises..feared it would ruin my CDs. Not a smooth operation, but is convenient to have multi slots. Plays like old am radio. Sending back for another brand. Bose is just hype not a nice sound to the ears. Sending back.
Ordered this because it was on sale and wanted to expand my wave radio. Boy, am I glad I did. Very easy to set up and use CD's. The sound is better than my expensive stereo and speakers which have now moved upstairs. Now I have hours of Christmas music to HO-HO-Ho my self into Christmas
Wish list, check
Great addition to the Bose Wave Music System. Easy use. Great buy.
Best addition to my Bose System,
So nice that I no longer have to keep changing CD's so often. This purchase was a long time coming. Easy as pie to connect to my original Bose. Color matches perfectly! Let the Christmas Carols continue!
I had read other reviews about this product being loud and noisy, but also read other reviews saying how much the customer liked the product. Well, I should have listened to those who said they had a bad experience with this product because that is exactly what I got ... a BAD experience. True, the hook up was easy and uncomplicated, but once I attempted to use it, the bad came clunking through. The CD changer is obnoxiously loud, slow, and sounds as if rusty gears are being tossed around a cardboard box. I would expect from Bose a better quality product and one that is as smooth and seamless as their wave music system. It is not worth the money, it is as I described. it is just a bad item. I don't think QVC should even offer this because it really is just awfully bad.
Bring Back Burgandy
I purchased the Bose III radio, but would like to add the multi-CD changer. I purchased the burgandy so I need it in that color to match. I love the radio system!
