BOSE Virtual sound system w/3 speakers!
Must hear to believe the quality! The Bose Companion 5 speaker system is a fantastic addition to your multimedia computer system. I've had several different sets of computer speakers, including one other Bose set, and this is hands-down the best set. Most of the negative reviews posted seem to point out what happens when you don't follow directions. Follow the instructions, you'll get unbelievable sound from the system. I actually had to get up once and check the door behind me because I thought I heard someone knocking, only to discover that it was sound coming from the game I was playing, hahaha! Superb, full spectrum sound from a small, compact system!!

Great System
I purchased this system a month ago knowing I was only going to use them for music. I spent three months doing research, reading reviews of every brand and model I can find. Visiting all the big box stores, mom and pops, and high end stores listening to many different systems priced from $49.95 to $1000.00+. I made my decision obviously based on sound quality but also the value of dollars spent. The systems I heard that had a higher price tag either sounded the same or not much better than the Companion 5. The ones that had a lower price did not compare. Now it was hard for me to spend $400+ on computer speakers but these are well worth it. All you have to do is begin by listening to the sample CD Bose provides with the system and your hooked. I listen to all types of music and it all sounds great. The clarity is incredible. This is a must have system.

Simply Amazing!! Crisp, Clean and Powerful System
The Bose Companion is simply the best PC speaker system I've ever heard. Given that I'm in the recording business, professional sounding speakers have to live up to my high standards and expectations and this system delivers tenfold!!! I would have paid $599.00 for this system. The sound will truly blow you away. Crisp highs and great bass with no distortion even at the highest volume level. Great Job BOSE!!! Take my word for it and get this system you will not be disappointed.

So Glad I Got This!
I had been using a sound/docking station for my iPad + while the sound was OK, the pressure of placing the iPad into the dock caused my iPad screen to crack.
So, after reading a bunch of reviews, I sprang for this system and I couldn't be happier. The sound quality is amazing - especially given the size of the speakers. Connecting to my PC and iPad was a snap. Great clarity, bass depth (which is adjustable) and overall power.
Couldn't be happier-wish I had gotten it sooner.

Nothing Better
I am a music snob. These speakers...BY FAR...are the best I have ever heard. I spend a lot of time in front of the computer and the sound is AMAZING. No clue why ANYONE would give this less than 5 STAR RATING. I have 5 sets of BOSE speakers in my house and would NEVER buy anything else.

i am very happy with this item ,its the best pair of computer speakers i ever had, they blow logitech out the water, when people hate on these speakers is because they can not afford them, ive been through the other brands before any they were just a waste of time an money, bose is the best i dont care what anybody says!!period AWSOME is the only way i can say about them loud an good bass!!!clear an clean.thanks qvc for the good deal,i will be making more buys in the future,thanks.

Just OK
Thought this would be more like the home theater system, but its not. Its also bigger than I thought and by the time I found room for the components, I don't think the effect of the sound is what it should be. Kind of expensive for PC speakers that didn't really give me what I wanted.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I upgraded from an older "Companion 3" Bose system, and the difference is like night and day. I hear notes and nuances that I have never heard before. I played Classical Gas by Mason Williams that I have listened to for years and I as I listened with these speakers I kept saying, "Man, I have never heard that before". Great speakers and they connect via USB so with an Apple computer you can program out the I Mac speaker. I highly recommend!

Music Lover
I purchased this speaker system to place in my bedroom and to use along side of my computer and with my ipod. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I have a full stereo system when I use either the computer or the ipod with this system. It may be more expensive than other systems but if you truly love music and you are searching for the best quality then look no further. Go ahead and invest the additional dollars. You will not regret it. Last year I purchased a less expensive Sony system and I was not as happy with the sound. It was less expensive and I could tell. But when I listen to my bose speaker system I hear all that I want and expect and more. The set up is beyond easy. I am looking to purchase another Bose system and have promised myself never to compromise when it comes to music sound systems. it is just not worth the compromise when you consider the hours of listening pleasure that you will receive from the Bose speaker systems. Go for it. You deserve it!
