WOW!!!!!
We are totally amazed by the sound coming from this unit - even better than my very large home stero ( which is a top quality product). Did go to the Bose website and ordered the compatible 5 cd changer as it was out of stock at QVC. Ordered the 3 cd changer and did not realize it was not compatible. Would reccommend Bose make all cd changers compatible with all products via longer cords to reach the necessary ports. Love this product.!!

Mine is 30 years old
I have had this for over 30 years and I absolutely love it! I now use it for surround sound on my TV and it's unbelievable sound. I think it's worth every penny.

NO MORE WIRES
If my husband had added one more speaker/wire in our den, well I shutter to think what I might have done. I put off buying this for three 3yrs. because it just seemed like too much money. Now we put away 6 speakers and it sounds even better.

Wonderful Product! Wonderful Sound!
After many years, my little Bose gave out on me. I actually wanted to buy one exactly like it, but all the new models now have no control buttons on the Bose itself. Everything has to be regulated from the tiny remote. This model is the only one I could fine anywhere, that can be controlled with the remote and also by using the control panel on the Bose itself. So I bought this and must say it is superb in my very large living room. I can easily hear it in the kitchen, bathroom and my bedroom. Hope it lasts as long as the little one I had.

NEARLY PERFECT
First of all let me say that I've owned many Bose products over the years and have been very satisfied with everything. I've been wanting to get this Acoustic Wave Music System II for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. Just arrived yesterday and I opened it up like a kid on Christmas morning. As I expected the sound was rich, full and you could clearly hear every instrument in the music. The sound carried will through my entire finished basement which is where I have it setup and it was crystal clear. The CD player works great and is very easy to use as are all the other functions on this system. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 start rating (which is a first for any Bose product I've reviewed) is that the bass just isn't as pronounced as I thought it would be. It actually seems a bit weak. I've purposely put in some CD's that have alot of noticeable bass to them that come through awesome on my other Bose systems. To my surprise I just couldn't hear the bass well where as in my other systems not only could I hear it well I could actually feel it. That is my one and only gripe with this system so far as it's met all my other expectations and has sound that is exceptionally clear. I would still recomend it to anyone as most probably aren't as picky as me but I'd be willing to bet 99% of the people buying it would give it 5 stars.

Exactly what I expected!
What a little power house this compact work of art is!
I started out sceptical, I ended up elated! As I was unwrapping my gift to myself, I thought there is no possible way this eighteen pound devise has the ability to live up to the hype. After ten minutes of instruction perusal, plugging it in, and popping in a CD, I was blown away! The sound is full, the full sound can be quite loud if desired, and loud sound can be understood.
I only hope it lasts as long as it sounds good!

fantastic sound
received this 10 years ago from my husband as a gift. in the platinum...without a doubt the best sound system we have ever heard...it fills the room with crystal clear sound and even if you have it up so loud the neighbors can hear it, the sound is still pure. Truly a an engineering marvel. Have never had any issues with it at all; superior quality all the way around.
It is expensive and worth every penny. Don't waste your money on other brands...there is no comparison.

Love the Sound
I purchased this unit based on reviews and Bose's reputation. When I unpacked and plugged it in, my 25 year old son made doubtful comments, UNTIL the cd started playing. He was then blown away. We played many types of music on it, rock, opera, country, pop, ballads, Christmas music. They all sound fantastic. I love the fact I can carry it around the house with me when I work out also. I love it and am very pleased I purchased the upper end unit. Worth every penny.

One of the Best Purchases I've Ever Made!
I've had this Music System for years and I love it just as much now as I did when I got it. The sound is terrific and if you didn't know it was so small you would think you had a whole theater system playing. I have so many Bose products I couldn't begin to list them all! Each one is just as good as the rest of them! I have my Acoustic Wave Music System connected to the TV in my bedroom and what a difference in the sound of the shows I love to watch. If anyone is hesitating, you can't go wrong with this system. It's portable too. My brother has one and he brings it with him everywhere.

The big let down
The sound of this unit is nice BUT the receiver for AM radio channels is a big let down.
We sent our original unit back after our call to customer service about this observation and they looked at it and sent it back with no found problems.
It is not our location.We moved to a higher elevation and still AM channels are a big let down.
If the consumer is to pay big bucks then Bose needs to address this issue.We wanted to purchase 2 more for our daughters family for Christmas gifts...not happening.
Bose name could address this with a small accompanying antenna,if they wanted too.
Bose customer service told us to go buy one!

Excellent Sound FOR THE SIZE
Considering the almost *tiny* size of this system, the rich, full and powerful bass -- especially at lower volume levels -- was amazing. The high-end was a little *tinny* to my ear, but again, FOR THE SIZE, the system really is nothing short of incredible. A wonderful all-in-one small, portable system.

Wow!!!!
I purchased this acoustic wave system for my husband and I can't even or don't know where to start on telling you how wonderful and great the sound is. It's such a great invention, and if you're on the fence about buying because of the price, yea a bit pricey but well worth every penny.
And last but not least the sound is
G R E A T.
I even have 2 sets of ear phone the noise cancelling ones and they are great to, never hear music so good only when I am wearing them.
