Bodyblade Total Results Fitness Program w/DVD, Chart & Guide
I tried to like this
I tried- what to say. I hate exercising and working out that must be the problem- I guess I just prefer my hand weights for my arms and crunches. Oh well.
Stand by your Product
I love the bodyblade, Ihave used it for 2 months now and still havn't gotten pass the 6 minute exercise! But the difference in my muscle strength is amazing. My CD quit working and I call CS and it was replaced. At no charge. Thank you QVC for bring good products and thank you Bodyblade for standing behind your product!
Harder than it looks!
Just got this yesterday. A little about me: I run marathons (26.2 miles) at least once a month, but I'm a slow, back-of-the-pack runner. I'm no stranger to strength training, but I haven't been doing it lately, and I'm not in great muscular shape right now. In particular, I need to work on my core and my upper body. This is why I decided to try the Bodyblade. I expected it to be a challenge and it exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, I watched the instructional segments on the DVD, then did the Super Six workout, which includes 6 x 1 minute exercises with a brief warm-up and some movement in between the exercises (easy squats, lunges, and twists). The whole workout took no more than 10 minutes, but I had trouble maintaining the full 1 minute for some of the exercises! I definitely felt my core and upper body muscles engaging, so I know that I'll have some good results if I keep up with this. It does take a little getting used to, and some of the exercises were easier for me than others, coordination-wise, but I'm sure I'll get better with practice. Since the workout is so quick, I think I'll plan to do it every morning before my shower.
Did not like
I'm sorry but I just don't see how this does what they SAY it does. I sent mine back.
It took a little getting used to at first. You really have to concentrate on not gripping the handle too tight. It is a good workout, and you can really feel your muscles working. The DVD that comes with it, is easy to follow and a great workout.
just not for me
It seems like a good way to strengthen upper body muscle but it was just to heavy for me.
I had purchased one of these many years ago and it really works. After having it for a few months I had some major surgery and was not able to use it for over a year. My husband had put it in storage and it was kind of forgotten about until I saw it on air again this week. I went digging around looking for it and just found it this morning. I can use it again now and that makes me very happy.
Does work if used correctly
I wasn't expecting much but wanted to try it based on the reviews - it really does work. People who say it doesn't must be using it incorrectly or are in really great shape. If you "shake" it, it creates sort of a wave - if you go with the motion, it will do absolutely nothing, but if you go against the motion of the wave, you will definitely feel it. It took me just a few seconds to figure it out, but a little longer to become efficient at it. The reason for the 4 stars is because I don't see how it will work my legs like they say it will - maybe I'll figure it out later - but this does work your core if you hold it perpendicular to the floor and shake it left and right. It's not a Total Gym, but it does work - depends on what you're looking for.
HARD TO BELIEVE
Impressed with the exercise and use of this product. Didn't think it would work but it does. I can really feel it work and I love the impact. It takes a while to work your way up to those on the video but it's worth it. I change between the Bodyblade, the pilates machine (also from QVC) and walking.
Great Toning Tool
I am an avid fitness buff. I bought this for my 20 y.o. daughter who isn't as keen on exercise as I am. Well, surprise, surprise. She can't or won't put this down. True, it does "burn" the muscles of the arm when in use, but it is a very doable item to use for fitness. The on air demo doesn't make you a believer but having it in person, DOES. Great product!
Worth the money
I am 70 years of age. I use this piece of eqipment daily, sometimes twice daily.I have a gym membership but it has become boring as the owners changed my favorite Yoga classes. I incorporate this into my exercise program. In the summer I enjoy swimming. I do Yoga, Ballet Barre, in the Winter I enjoy walking, I live in the HiDesert of So. Cal. walking in the summer is not an option. This is a excellent piece of equipment for all ages, well worth the money and a great deal less expensive than othr pieces of equipment I have purchased. People who are not active may have to start out slowly but it is well worth the effort.
The bodyblade is a fantastic piece of exercise equipment. It's great, in my opinion, for beginner exercisers all the way up to the most advanced. As Bruce Hymanson says in instructional DVD you are in control of how hard you work with Bodyblade. It's really amazing how this little piece of equipment can work so many muscle groups. I must admit the first time I saw it demonstrated on QVC I laughed. I thought it was just another goofy idea. You know - here today gone tomorrow. Well I'm not laughing now. It is well worth the money. It's a good quality product that does exactly what Mr. Hymanson says it will. I would say definitely watch the instructional DVD and give yourself time to practice and get the hang of it. I really believe you will love it too.
