This thing uses muscles I've never really worked out before. If you actually do the workouts, you will notice a difference in your muscles. It's surprisingly hard to do for a significant length of time.

I did not realize how much of a work out this simple piece of equipment could be nor how much fun. My son has it now & I don't think I will get it back. He was also surprised that he felt the effects of the workout in a relatively short period of time. I may have to order another one. I'm trying to get some muscles toned in my upper arms, hopefully the flabby part will get smaller. Anyhow, it reminds me of the hula-hoop, by that, I mean it is fun to use & at the same time, you get exercise. You CAN really feel it working, especially when you are like me, 65+ & not a gym member. On COLD rainy or snowy days, I can grab this out of the closet, put on some music & have fun.

I enjoy using this thing! I think it is a good workout tool, especially if you don't use your shoulders as much as you should. This will keep them agile and flexible.

I love this bodyblade and dvd. I wish I was able to get the new dvd in a separate purchase. I can see the definition in my muscles each time I use it. I keep working at it so I am not taking any break b 4 that particular exercise is over. I am a licensed massage therapist and can definitely say it works on every muscle in your body.
I can use it anywhere as well as store it anywhere. I talked so much about it that when I called my girlfriend and told her about it she bought it as well, she is a real exercise /health person. Get it.

I bought the BodyBlade a few years ago, can't remember exactly when but I am still so happy that I have this exerciser. I use it almost every night and I don't have to use it for a long time to feel the affect on my muscles. It toned my arms and helped strengthen my core muscles. Sometimes I lay on my bed and bring my legs up with the knees slightly bent and I use the BodyBlade and that really works my abs. I'm sure if I use this for a longer amount of time I would see more results but I use this to supplement my other forms of exercise. I would recommend starting out slowly with this and build up to using it more often and with more intensity. Keep using the BodyBlade so you get used to it and you build up your endurance.

I have used the blade for 6 months ... not 2 weeks or 10 days ... but EVERYDAY! I average 7 days off a month ... I have lost 40 pounds! I was a W22 and last I knew a W14 ... but I am losing my pants when I walk ... now using a belt ... I'm not sure what size I am at the moment... but I really don't care! I feel great and look better than I have in my entire life! In addition to the blade I do intervals on my stationary bike (also every day) for 20 minutes ...and I eat right ... high protein and low carbs ... the blade is awesome BUT you have to want the results...won't do you any good if it's resting against the wall...it will work for you but you have to get serious! I love it because it was invented by a physical therapist and is not intended to hurt you ... I am 64 years old and it was the best purchase I ever made!

I found this item to be most riduculous and ineffective. Don't waste your time or money on this product. I gave it a shot for 2 wks and felt no results. I go to the gym 4 times a week. I purchase this item to help tone my arms and chest. I was truly disappointed.

I finally began the Body Blade workout after receiving it 2 months prior. I watched the entire DVD before even holding the blade. Then I practiced using the practice section as suggested. It took about 2.5-3 weeks at 3 times a week for my non-dominate arm to become comfortable and strong enough to keep the blade moving. Now, 6 weeks later, I pop out of bed, excited to feel what my body can accomplish today! I am seeing definition in the backs of my arms, tops of my shoulders and along my rib cage. I also had a very easy time climbing out of the river onto a dock ladder that had no bottom rung. I felt my abdominal muscles engage, allowing me to pull myself out of the water with ease. It was wonderful, considering I am a plus 18, 45 years old, and had an audience of about 15 ppl watching me. This is my 2nd Body Blade purchase. I wanted one to keep in my office at work for those few free minutes a day around lunch time. Thank you for bringing back the body blade system. I can't wait to check out and begin the newest DVD.
