Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick
Light and creamy
I got this in a TSV and thought that it would be to heavy for my 54 year old skin.
It went on smoothly and looked good.
I like a lighter foundation, so I am now using a smaller, flat kabuki brush to put it on and it is the nicest looking foundation I have used so far. I use a small flat brush for discolorations.
Thank you again Bobbi.
Not for me
Personally , I suppose I'm a "liquid" foundation person. The color was perfect but the stick difficult for me to handle/apply. May be perfect for someone. Thought I would try it. Dosen't mean it's not a good product, just not for me,returned. The upside is,she has a variety of shades for all skin tones.
It is smelly and heavy. I bought this years ago and it was great. In fact I still have it but it is old. This consistency I thought was just too heavy of a coverage.....
I am very happy with the stick foundation matches my skin just perfect.covers very nice and very easy to apply.I will purchase this from now on.
First time I ever tried this make up and I love it !!! Will definitely buy this again :)
Worth every penny. Very good coverage, high quality.
Foundation that MINIMIZES THE LOOK OF WRINKLES
I have read that creams and serums that minimize the look of wrinkles do so with an ingredient that causes a reflection away from the crevice of the wrinkles, minimizing the shadow. It is the shadow in the wrinkles that make them noticeable. Well, this foundation seems to have the same effect. It has a beautiful way of minimizing the look of fine wrinkles, specifically around the eye area and upper lip. It is so light and reflective that it gives a very smooth, youthful look and feel. I am 63 years and get SO many compliments on my skin. I LOVE this product.
Combo To Dry Skin- Works Great
I am in my mid-50's and I don't think this product would have worked when my skin was more on the oily side. My skin is now normal to dry. I bought my first stick of this foundation 6 months ago and am ready to order another. During my first stick, I'd occasionally go back and try my old foundations - Estée Lauder and Neutrogena. After comparing, the Bobbi Brown foundation came out on top. I apply the stick foundation with a cosmetic sponge and it blends beautifully with a smooth coverage. I'm blonde with fair skin and have found Sand to be a perfect shade.
Wanted to love it
I love Bobbi Brown and have for years and I wanted to love this foundation but it is just ok for me. I like the convenience of the stick but it does not blend. I have to rub really hard to get it to blend in! I was expecting it to be silky and creamy but the product I is not. The color is a perfect match and it does give nice coverage once I get it on. I have tried it with primer, without primer, directly after moisturizer etc. and nothing seems to make a difference. I will continue to buy Bobbi Brown products but I won't be purchasing this one again.
This is really good makeup, good coverage, not heavy, natural looking only better. If you want to know how good your skin can look, try this product. Thanks Bobbi, this is my makeup now.....
There were neither nothing special nor exemplary about this foundation. It wore and appeared on my face no better or no less than really expensive or inexpensive foundations I have tried. For the price tag, if I am going to pay this much and I can get the same results from something that costs 75% less, guess which direction I'm going.
I love this foundation stick because the porcelain is perfect as my shade. A little goes a long way. It's smooth, luxurious and easy to use. There is no waste because you're using a stick. I use this with Bobbi Brown's corrector and concealer along with many other Bobbi Brown products . It's a must have!
