Must have for Normal Skin
I used this off an on since my 20's I have tried other foundations - cheaper versions, liquid ,mineral powders but I always return to this one. Bobbi Brown has the best natural tones for me I am a warm sand 43yrs old with no visable wrinkles.The key is to find the right formula for you this is best for normal skin. I like that it last forever my is 8 months old and still have 1/4 of it left. I like to use on the areas that need correcting nose, upper lip, check area. I use one small swipe on each and blend with foundation brush and use sunscreen over it . I wrote this review because there were unfair comments about this product. If you see Bobbi Brown on air or her make up videos on her site she does not recommend this formula for oily skin,dry or older skin who needs more moisture. Also Bobbi has excellent formulas with sunscreen but I like higher SPF

Favorite Foundation
I have been using the foundation stick for a couple of months now. It took me a little bit to figure out how it works best for me. It could be applied heavy by drawing lines on your face then blending with a brush. I just dip the brush on the stick and apply it on my face where I need the coverage. It goes on smoothly and does not look cakey at all. My skin is combination but does tend towards being dry. The foundation stays on all day and I have a great color match with Beige.

I really wanted to like this foundation due to the ease and portability of it, but it just didn't do it for me. I tried it without a primer. Yuck. I tried it with a primer. Not much better. Goes on blotchy and patchy, and settles into lines around the eyes. I even applied it right after my moisturizer. I guess I need a foundation that's more moisturizing. I'll keep on looking.

TOO HEAVY FOR ME
Love the concept of this foundation. However, do not recommend it for someone who has lines & wrinkles bkz it's just too creamy which means it slides into those places & just makes them show up all the more. Not a good look. In addition, the coverage is much too heavy for an older woman. I tried the two lightest shades as I am extremely fair.

Not for Combination Skin
I normally LOVE and use Bobbi's products without complaint. But I must say, this is a terrible foundation for people who have normal to oily & oily skin. It applies well and gives a flawless canvas. But it doesn't last for more than a couple hours (if you're lucky) before it starts to rub off and streak. The color selection is always immaculately perfect. I use "Sand" and it make my skin look amazing. But I will not purchase this ever again. I'll stick with my Skin Foundation or the Oil free compact. Those work much better for people with combination skin. The only reason it's getting two stars instead of one is because of it's convenient packaging and perfect color match.

Wonderful coverage
I never tried Bobbi's foundation although I have many many of her products. This is amazing foundation! You can adjust the coverage which I love for day and evening look. I really believe you'll love this product. I have olive skin with salt and pepper hair and ordered the honey. It was a perfect match!

Speedy!
I love this product because it is so easy to use. With just a few swipes of this stick, I can quickly and easily create an even canvas. I've been using this for years and absolutely love the formula, which provides medium to heavy coverage depending on how much you apply. You can also use it just like a concealer for spot coverage. The porcelain shade works wonderfully with my skin tone. Bobbi really knows how to create products that look like actual skin. I rely on this product on mornings when I am in a rush and have to get out the door fast. A travel friendly product, too. 5 stars!
