Bob Mackie's Button Front 3/4 Sleeve Printed Cardigan is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and classy I ordered the blue and it is gorgeous! I love the blue and white colors together and the weight of the cardigan is perfect for a spring day..even during summer in the evening or in a cool air conditioned room. I love the button down..the material..the color and especially the length. Not too long! Not over the hip area but just slightly below the waist which I love instead of overly long as most tops seem to be these days. I'm a shorter height lady (5"2') and prefer a waist length. Thanks Bob Mackie for this perfect cardigan...maybe time for another one????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty sweater This is a very pretty sweater...I love scroll work on sweaters...I'm plus size and it could stand to be about 6 or 8 inches longer to be honest..But it is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Winner from Bob I ordered the Blush and am so happy with this. I love Bob's cardigans--comfortable, fit well and always so stylish--particularly like the back of this sweater.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible Mess I ordered this so called cardigan from Bob Mackie and couldn't have been more disappointed. The fabric was so thin that I don't know how this could be classified as a cardigan. Then, just as another reviewer noted, the cardigan was boxy. It looked horrible. I am so upset as I have to suffer the shipping fees, but I refuse to wear this so back it goes. I ordered a Bob Mackie Dress recently and sent it back. I doubt if I will order anything else by this designer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Short I returned this sweater the same day it arrived because it is too short - had a boxy look to it. My personal preference is that jackets and the like should cover what's underneath them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Matronly I should have known better. It's a pretty sweater, but very matronly looking, suitable for an older person. Not great quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Wished-for Long and Short of It I really love the design of this sweater. Bob Mackie suggested that the coral-colored sweater looks like inverted coral, and I agree. I am on the lookout for prints with a tropical motif. I did order the aqua before any on-air presentation. Aqua is a funny description in the Bob Mackie world of color naming. The aqua of this printed cardigan is the color of an angry, thrashing sea, with a lot of white added: it is a light, grayed blue-green. As for the requests for a tighter sleeve. I like the fact that the sleeve is just as it is. I bought several of Bob Mackie's Botanical Bouquet sweaters and found the black banding on the sleeves made the sleeves a bit too snug. Otherwise, the botanical sweaters fit just fine, as does this printed cardigan. The fact is, however, that sweater is short in two key areas. The sleeves are 5/8 sleeves, and not 3/4 sleeves, at least on me. The body of the sweater is short, the length for a 1x is 25 1/2 inches. Given cotton's propensity to shrink, I fear that the sweater's sleeves and body length may wind up even shorter yet. I don't like the look of the sweater the way hostess Albany wears it, with a tank extending about four or five inches below the bottom of the sweater. I think that look is sloppy looking. Bob Mackie says the sweater is meant to be shorter for summer. But I don't want to be sitting at a table and be leaning forward, so that the back waistband of my pants show, as well as some of my flesh. So what I think I am going to do is order the longer cotton palm leaf-print sweater by Isaac Mizrahi, in the same colors of coral and aqua, and see which designer sweaters I like better. I certainly hope that this sweater design isn't short because of what I call, as of late, the Bob Mackie skimp factor. Long sweater with no buttons or zipper closure. A cotton jacket which doesn't carry the beautiful embroidery to the back of the jacket or to the back of the neck area. A fleece jacket where the black braid at the bottom isn't carried to the rear of the jacket. Women notice. In all the above instances I would be willing to pay more for better quality, for more finished and better thought-out designs. I stand five feet, nine inches. This printed cardigan would be good for a women who stands five foot, three inches. I would have liked the sweater to have been three inches longer in the body, as well as three inches longer in the sleeves. Then they would have been keepers. This sweater is as short as an ant's eyebrows, as they say in Texas. I have a sneaking hunch that I'll be returning these short sweaters right back to QVC.
