Beautifully Made
This gorgeous jacket is worthy of the Bob Mackie name. It is beautifully tailored, fully lined, and it is true to size. I like my choice of turquoise, and the embroidery is well done. I bought the medium, and it fits almost perfectly. My problem is that I have short arms, so the sleeves are wrist-length on me rather than three-quarter length. I am fine with them. Glad I ordered it!

LOVED HIS WORK AND STYLE
I HAVE VERY MANY OF HIS JACKETS AND SHIRTS I LOVED THIS ONE BUT FOR THIS PAST YEAR OR SO I HAVE HAD TO RETURN EVERY ONE OF HIS JACKETS AS THE CUT HAS CHANGED SINCE IT STARTED BEING MADE IN CHINA THEY CUT THE FRONT PANEL OF THE JACKET JUST A SEAM ALLOWANCE SHORT BUT IT IS ENOUGH TO MAKE IT PULL ACROSS THE UPPER ARM WHEN YOU TRY TO RAISE ;YOUR ARM. I SEW AND TOOK PATTERN DRAFTING IN SCHOOL SO I KNOW WHAT IS WRONG. SO IT NEEDS GOOD SEAMSTRESS WHO DO QUALITY CONTROL

I love this jacket. Love the fit, quality, colors, everything about it. I will buy Bob Mackie's clothes as long as he makes them. I love the attention to detail that this jackie was awarded. Please make more and more.

beautifully made; sizing is odd
I ordered the aqua in large on easy pay. It arrived really fast and it is a beautifully made jacket. The seaming and the flowers on the pique fabric make it a very unusual piece. But the sizing is weird. The large was waaaay too big in the bust and shoulders and the waist was just right. I usually order a large because I like lots of room in a jacket especially one that buttons all the way. But I had to order a medium in exchange. I hope it fits better. Especially since I like the design so much I got a black in medium too. If you are very big busted, go with your normal Mackie size; otherwise size down. If you have a big tummy, you may need to keep this unbuttoned. As usual the people on the phone were extremely helpful. QVC has the BEST customer service people anywhere. I hope they are paid well because they do an outstanding job. Thanks.

Poor fit
I was so excited to get this jacket. I was going to order it in 2 colors, good thing I did not. Fit small and actually it almost seemed to be sewn wierd. I could not put my finger on it just an odd fit. Back it went. I do love his tee shirts.

I love Bob Mackie's Jackets!!
This is the 3rd Bob Mackie jacket I have purchased and I absolutely love it. It is the first jacket I have ordered since losing 50+ lbs and the medium that I now wear is a perfect fit. I have had some problems with the sizing of other QVC designers I used when I was a larger size, but not Bob Mackie. I purchased the black with the white flowers wanting to use it for dressier occasions with a black or white tank and black or white slacks.....The quality and style is much better than anything I have seen recently in the high end stores. Thank you Bob Mackie.....

beautiful jacket
I sized up and good thing that I did..I usually take a xl and I purchased a 1X and fits perfect. The embroidery is beautiful . I purchased black and the lining is well constructed.I thing maybe the lining took up some space in the sizing because my measurements are the same as always. Good job, again, Mr. Mackie

Too hot for Texas
I ordered this hoping to wear to a wedding, but it was to hot for a wedding here in Texas,
also it ran small.

Beautiful. I give it 5 stars.
Plan to wear it to an August wedding. Of course I expect perfection since I'm a Bob Mackie fan. Full lined and well finished. Mr. Mackie never disappoints me probably because we are both from Los Angeles although I've lived in Utah for over 30 yrs.

Classic
Received this jacket in the mail and loved it! I bought the white pique with black & pink embroidery in the extra small. The fit is good for me and I plan to wear it with a black skirt or slacks. Sure I had to press it but it was easy to iron the few wrinkles out. I think it is a classic winner. Thanks Bob!!

Fit Not Right
I purchased two different color jackets in my regular Bob Mackie size and was very disappointed in the fit. I agree with another reviewer that there was more than ample fabric at the top, but the hip area was too tapered and an inch or two too tight. The jacket itself is very good looking and made well. It's just the sizing that seems off. I like the jacket well enough to try a size up, but I fear it will be way to big. We'll see. Three stars for the fit.

bLOSSOMS DANCING ACROSS YOUR SHOULFDRS
The flowers across the front and down the shoulders and sleeves are so delicate that it adds to the femininity of the jacket. And I love pique it is such beautiful material to make a jacket out of, though it is true I had to iron mine to and I thought of giving him lower stars NOT because it had to be ironed but then it occurred to me ALL FABRICS HAVE TO BE IRONED. He’s working with fabric, fabric has to be ironed. Cotton, linen, rayon, silk, polyester, seersucker, any of it, except maybe leather, but that would cost 3-4 times the cost of this jacket. People, people, people, what do you do with your clothing, wear it wrinkled or buy new when it gets a wrinkle in it? This is a stunner, it’s beautiful. It has the most beautiful pretty flowers dancing across your shoulders and all you notice is it came with a wrinlkle. It is fully lined with matching fabric. The buttons are died to match. It has shoulder pads built in so the jacket hangs right. It is made beautifully and again it had a wrinkle. Well I noticed he didn’t put pockets in this one and the last few items he has introduced. I have always praised him in the fact that he makes his beautiful items not only designed elegantly but practical by adding pockets but am I giving him fewer stars because they don’t have pockets? No because that would be petty. So keep in mind guys this is one gorgeous jacket. I got the aqua but keep in mind here that the aqua is really a mint green. Truly, I have heard the hostesses and Bob Mackie mention that the person who names the colors is sometimes off. Well this is definitely the case here as the aqua is a perfect mint green. But also I have to say again, those flowers are just eye-catching. They are so delicate, pretty, soft and feminine. In fact it looks like you walked under one of those trees with the pretty white blossoms on them and the fell on your neck and shoulders. You can’t keep your eyes off of them. So yes, you might have to press out a wrinkle; but this jacket is worth everything. This one is a definitely a two color jacket. In other words, I will be buying 2 colors. But Bob Mackie thank you again but please don’t forget the pockets. Your fan and a half, Candy
