Blue Jean Chef: "Comfortable Under Pressure" Cookbook
Always watch when Meaidith is cooking
New to pressure cooking. Great tips. Will be trying as many receipts as time allows. Clear instructions.
My daughter and I love cooking thanks to you.
Everything is great. I have a question about time. When I double or triple a recipe, do I change the time?
Just picked up this cookbook and so happy I did. Recipes are prefect and easy. Corn and Potato Chowder is Amazing. Corned Beef and Cabbage Excellent. The Caramel pudding... OH MY!!!! Have tried several of the recipes and have not been disappointed. I can see why David is Happy Dancing regularly! Thanks QVC!
I have made 2 meals from his book so far and both have been awful! Also I guess I was expecting more one-step meals but most require pre-browning or separate accessories. Its not worth losing shipping charges to return it.
too many ingredients
I like simple receipes, something I don't have to go out & buy an ingredient for when I get ready to cook. simple cooks don't keep a lot of fresh spices & other spices in pantry. But I do love my pressure cooker.
Blue Jean Chef Cokbook
I love using my pressure cookers, and yes, I have more then one! I am always looking for good cook books with pressure cooker recipes and this is by far my most favorite. I have already tried several of the recipes and so far, so good!
Must Have for the Pressure Cooker Cook
This book is wonderful. I bought an electric pressure cooker, but wasn't sure if it was a waste of money or not. Well... I love the pressure cooker and this cook book! It took me from a reluctant cook to an enthusiastic cook. I use the pressure cooker all the time, and these recipes have really impressed my family. If you can follow directions, you can turn out some great meals with this cookbook. Thank you, Meredith!
Bob's book is better
I bought this book in the hopes of expanding on the book I bought several years ago from Bob Warden titled Slow Food Fast....Not a chance....this book is too confusing and too many ingredients that I don't have. Also, either my pressure cooker is too old or the times are incorrect. Every pasta dish was hard.
Note to David: the mac and cheese is horrible!!!!!
I love this book. It is written so clear and easy to follow. I can now make bean soup in my pressure pot!
I was looking for more basics, e.g. French Onion Soup. I was disappointed in the selection.
I decided to buy the book since I purchased the digital pressure cooker she presented. The book has great photographs of the food you can make, the recipes are easy to follow and what I've made so far tastes Fantastic!! Glad I bought the book...next recipe to try, the Coq au Vin!
A GREAT book.
My daughter bought this for me -she already has one and told me I would like it.
Between this book and Bob Warden's Great Food Fast anyone can pressure cook.
