Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Well 'did make spring pot planting easier with less soil. I agree with someone else about the sizes--sell the sizes separately. I didn't use the larger ones b/c I never use pots that large--they must be pretty large to accommodate those disks. They are stored in my garage to be given away or sold at garage sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Other Design This is a great idea but why don't u offer these in square version for those types of pots?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great idea Great idea and they work well. My only suggestion is that they consider selling the different sizes separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I really don't understand why someone would make this purchase more complicated than it needs to be. I have a few 18" pots and have the 12" in them with about 8" of soil. Saves on a lot of hassel from heavy rocks, cutting pool noodles, styrofoam and such. Makes my pots a lot lighter without wasting soil. It really doesn't matter which way you put them in, it works with the right pot sizes as long as the pots have a slight tapering to them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from totally useless Good luck finding a pot that these will fit. They did not fit my pots so I took to a store with hundreds of pots. These only fit the tall urn type and raised the bottom about 1 inch!! I bought a bag of lava rock for $5.00 and filled my pot half way and topped it with soil. Worked beautifully. $12.50 for shipping ($7.00 to return plus $5.50 to ship to me). So I am stuck with this useless piece of plastic!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from won't work with my pots I purchased several high end Talavera pots and find that these won't work with them because they are not tapered enough. I'm so disappointed because I was hoping to lighten my load and save on soil. I don't want to buy new pots so I am going to return these today. Great idea!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Idea I bought these at a local nursery several years ago and I love them. I missed the QVC presentation but did read the description, and I agree with it. Potted annuals don't need much dirt because they have shallow roots. Excess water drips through the holes in the inserts. The best part to me is how lightweight the pots are and how easy it is to move them when filled just halfway. I no longer need my husband's help to move the pots. Just remember you need to use pots that taper midway down, otherwise the insert will just fall down to the bottom of the pot. Wish I could upload a picture of a pot of impatience and double impatience from last year, using the plant inserts, so you could see that they do not hinder the growth, but I have not learned how to do that yet. This would be a good gift for gardeners.
