Blarney Ceramics 4 Leaf Clover Set of 2 Bowls
I LOVE these bowls. They are simply beautiful. Quality pieces--they are obviously well-made and have a good weight. Like one reviewer noted, the depth of colour is wonderful and the glossiness is just the perfect touch. The leaves are detailed and look exactly like clover leaves. I am fortunate to have travelled to lovely Ireland and these are a nice reminder. I have used the large bowl for cereal and soup so far but it would make a good small serving bowl. The small bowl is great for pickles, olives, nuts, candy, etc. I can't recommend these highly enough!
I LOVED THESE BLARNEY PRODUCTS. ORDERED ANOTHER SET OF THEM ALONG WITH THE BLARNEY SIDE PLATES. THEY ARE ACTUALLY BIG ENOUGH TO USE FOR DINNER PLATES, AND I ORDERED TWO SETS OF THE BOWLS TO USE FOR MY REGULAR DINNERWARE. THESE ARE UNIQUE AND TOTALLY CHARMING. I GIVE A 5 STAR REVIEW--ONLY BECAUSE I CAN'T GIVE TEN!!!! GET THEM! YOU WILL TOTALLY LOVE THEM LIKE I DO. THEY ARE WONDERFULLY SIZED. THANKS.
The bowls are lovely and will have many uses. I have used them as serving bowls, but will also use them as candy dishes and for dips. Thank you for bringing such nice Irish items to us.
I bought one set and am going to buy another. These bowls are charming. They're perfect for artichokes and dip, cereal, blueberries, nuts, or anything you can think of. I love that they're Clover leaves because it appeals to my vegan heart! Just beautiful.
Filled With Irish Charm
These are the cutest little bowls! They are made of a sturdy sort of beige colored ceramic, (you can see this by looking at the base of the bowls) glazed a pretty, woodsy green, and finished with a beautiful gloss. Because of the color of the clay, they have a nice depth of color to them that isn't apparent in the online photo.
They have such a natural, earthy appearance -- so popular currently in dish ware and home decor. They aren't intended to be large serving vessels, (they are smaller bowls) but will come in handy in many ways for kitchen use and decor. The smaller of the two is just the right size to beat an egg or two, a couple of scoops of ice cream, or to serve a special jelly or sauce. Or try filling it with water and putting a floating candle in it.
The larger bowl is the perfect size for a candy dish, fresh berries, or a side dish for two. If you collect ceramics, I consider these a must-have. They're so well done and unusual. And they're a bargain for sure at this price! Blarney Ceramics has even remembered the little shamrock stem, which can be found if you look carefully at the scallop leaf detail around the rims of the bowls.
