J30863 - Black Hills Bold Blue Helenite Ring 10K/12K Gold
Love the ring. The stone is so pretty.
I love this ring. Only disappointment was that the leaves are much smaller than the photos of the ring. The stone changes colors from light blue to an Amethyst purple. I haven't taken this ring off since I received it.
love love love this ring
I really love this ring. The color is exactly as in the picture but changes to deep purple and does look very much like my tanzanite ring. The black hills leaves details are very beautiful and feminine. I just hope I will remember to take it off when I do any thing that might harm it. I read on the other reviews that it is a soft stone and may break it hit by some very hard object. Thanks qvc fot the great ring. I would recommend it highly.
Elegant Black Hills Gold!
This ring is for the ladies who want a more upscale Black Hills Gold design. It is very glamorous! The stone is clear and sparkly and completely changes color from blue to lavender! I live in the Northwest and witnessed the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens and I think it is very special to have something so beautiful that was created from such destruction. Thank you, Mr. Whitaker!
Love this ring!
Just got my blue helenite ring yesterday, and I absolutely love it. The size of the stone is just right, and it looks wonderful against the tricolored gold. The stone is amazing. In some lights, looks violet; in others, it looks a little more pale than my tanzanite stones. I'm very happy with it. Unfortunately, I missed out on the earrings. I hope QVC gets them in again soon.
Stone is very light
The stone in the ring that I received has almost no color at all. It is very, very pale, almost clear. The stones on the presentation were much darker and the pictures on the internet are also more saturated.
Black Hills Gold Leaves too small
This is a beautiful ring, however, the Black Hills Gold signature leaves are so small you need a magnifying glass to see them. I love Black Hills Gold and live in the Northwest so was looking forward to mixing the Helenite with the BLG but am disappointed in this ring so it's going back.
BLUE BUT NOT BLUE
YES I ALSO GOT THIS RING THINKING IT WAS BLUE. IT IS UNDER CERTAIN LIGHTING, I KEPT IT ANYWAY BECAUSE I REALLY LIKED IT.
I HAD IT FIFTEEN MONTHS AND I SAW A CRACK IN IT. I ONLY WEAR THIS RING FOR GOOD. I TAKE IT OFF WHEN GO TO WORK. THEY DID STAND BEHIND IT BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR THE STONE REPLACEMENT. WHICH WASN`T MUCH. HE TOLD ME IT WAS A VERY SOFT STONE LIKE A OPAL. LADIES IT STILL IS A NICE RING.
Extremely beautiful ring! The Helenite color changes makes it an extremely unique stone. Hope there will be more selections of the blue helenite!
I love this ring but wanted a blue stone. It's only blue under artificial light, the rest of the time it is a light purple. Since purple is my favorite color I decided to keep the ring. Black Hills gold is my favorite jewelry line.
I have never written a review before..this ring is so drop dead georgeous...it changes color in the sunlight and, depending on what you are wearing..someone grabbed my hand and asked if it was Tanzanite! It is pink, blue, tanzanite purple..I love it!!!
Absolutely a Favorite
This ring is gorgeous. I have many rings but I wear this most often. The changing color is fascinating. The filigree design on the sides with the pink and green gold leaves is a beautiful touch. I would highly recommend. It is worth the purchase price.
I purchased this ring and it is just lovely. It is either a beautiful blue or alovely amaythest, which is my birthstone. It is pricey but worth every dollar. I had it on in a jewelry store yesterday and the jeweler said"what a lovely alexanderite" I didn't correct her. I love it and if you are on the fence about this one,Buy it.
