Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathy Best Vacuum I've Ever Owned
I've had this vacuum since December 2014 and am just as happy with it as the first day I used it. The suction power is amazing and what it picked up from my carpets that my last vacuum didn't was just remarkable. I absolutely love the lift-off portability to vacuum my stairs. The swivel steering makes it so much easier to get around furniture. Emptying the canister couldn't be easier, just a touch of a button. I would definitely recommend this vacuum!!!!

There is nothing wrong with this vacuum, especially for the price. I just moved into a place where the carpet was rarely vacuumed, and the previous owner had a cat and a dog. The fur was deeply enmeshed into the fibers for who knows how many years. The vacuum picked up every bit of this nastiness, and restored the pile to make the carpet look and feel like new again.
This vacuum has all of the features you need, and has plenty of power and suction. The unit is so easy to lift off and carry around, and the cannister holds about a pound of dirt! I like that it fills up fast, it means that is really working! I love this vacuum.

I've had this vacuum for almost a year. I bought it because I really like the quality of Bissell vacuums. My last Bissell vacuum lasted nearly 6 years and with two big hairy dogs in the house, that's an eternity. I bought this model as a replacement.
This is the worst vacuum of any brand, I've had by far. The most annoying thing it does is blow dog hair AWAY from the vacuum. I have to chase down dust bunnies and even then, the vacuum will blow them up into the air. Another problem is how small the canister is. I am constantly having to empty it to get good suction. The filters need to be regularly changed or washed. I don't recommend this model at all.

Wow, just wow! We needed some deep cleaning of our carpets and this thing cleaned better than the more expensive "D-son" we own #'ed, past tense, as in own no more#.
Along with two dogs we had a "D"-son and "H"-ver bagless vacuums. We vac'd an area of carpet with the expensive "D" brand, and then followed it up with the "H-ver" vac. #Long story on why we have so many vacs# both picked up some dirt and dog hair. Anyway, after vacuuming with both the other brands, we went over it again with this one and it pulled more dust, sand, and fine dirt ... after ... the carpet was done with the other two. So I used it on the rest of the house, again, wow. This thing cleans, so much so that both the "D" and "H" bagless vacs found their way to the street.
The canister is easy to remove and clean. It has a swivel cleaning head. It comes with an upholstery attachment. It comes with an extra filter. The power switch for the brush head #with auto off if upright# is pure genius. Assembly was simple. Cleaning the filter could not be any simpler.
This is truly a well thought out and designed product. The design team deserves a raise. Seriously, it just works that well on all levels.
Now the bad:
Because is has such vacuuming power, it will pull/pick up small throw rugs #I say bad, but if your trying to clean, big vacuum power is what you want#. The crevice wand is a little bit short. The vac needs an extension tube for the corner/crevice attachment. Oh, and maybe the cord wrap stays could be higher on the unit so a person doesn't have to bend over so far to wind the cord.
Other than that, this is a very good product and I look forward to many years of service from it.
