Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works better than imagined I really like this vacuum! I could not believe how much my old vacuum was leaving behind, and it is very easy to empty the tank.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from False Advertising I want to love this vacuum. I do. It does a nice job cleaning my carpets. However, they specifically advertised that it has some special "cyclone" technology to move the pet hair to the bottom of the dirt container so you won't have to shove your hand in there to remove it. And that is not true. I just spent an hour (unsuccessfully I might add) attempting to extract pet hair and dirt clumped all around the "inner cyclone separator." Allegedly, I can untwist the separator and pull it out, but it is either stuck or I am not strong enough so I now need to wait till my husband gets home to do it. The fact of the matter is....I shouldn't have to remove the separator to remove the pet hair....it is supposed to do that for me. The pet hair should be at the bottom of the container and not clumped around the separator. Not only that but earlier, I had to extract out hair and direct from the tube that leads into the dirt container. What shocks me is that I have two pugs....very short haired dogs. How on earth would this vacuum do with long haired animals? Another complaint, although not as serious, is that I wish it had a light on the main part of the vacuum for general floor vacuuming. I have kids with small toys and that would be helpful. The crevice light is a nice feature, but no where near as useful as a main light would be. Ultimately disappointed with this vacuum. Which is ashamed as it cleans well, but I spend so much time unclogging and attempting to get the pet hair and dirt out that it adds time to my already tight cleaning schedule.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great first Impression! I've only used this a few w days and I really like it. My pet died and left a legacy of fur in every corner of the house. I bought this to prep for a new pet. Easy to assemble the few required parts. Great suction. Picks up LOTS of hair and dust. I was very excited about the hands-free emptying of the collection chamber. The first time the fur stuck in the spiked section and I did use my hands to pull out the clump. Then I figured out that if I shook it, everything would fall and it's been no-touch since that point. I have not used the attachments yet, but I can see that compared to other brands I've owned the hose is a bit short. The hand vac has good suction and this item does require touching the fuzz clumps to toss them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent suction! Love, love, love! Better suction and much lighter to move around than my previous Bissell. I love how it can go low enough to get under the opened recliner. The path is smaller than my previous model so now I am able to get in areas that I could not before. I love how it winds up the hair and collects it on the cannister. My Doxie is a long hair and I have long hair so this was an issue with my previous model. With this model the long hair doesn't get in the brush at all. No more cutting the hair to untangle from the brush!!! It does have a fancy feel for it so you have to be gentle. This is not a $99 vacuum that you toss around and hit everything with. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. In my book it is worth every penny. I had to empty the tank 3 times because of the suction was so powerful that it picked up stuff that my older vacuum could not! It is amazing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not buy this again. My daughter bought this for me for mothers day, because the tv promo showed how great it was. I was excited to get it. The first time I used it debri got stuck in the canister had to dig it out. 2nd time I used it the roller has hair stuck to it, just like all the others. The mini vac worked great, went to charge it followed the instructions and nope won't charge. I'm sure that this is not the normal, but when we inquired about returning it was told it was past the purchase date. I have the bissell carpet cleaner love it, was hoping for the same quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price Handheld upholstery attachment relies on suction so it stops once you start using it. Also hair still tangles the same as another vacuum. It does not work on hardwood floors the suction is horrible. Also while in use it kicks up a lot of dust into the air. I was very disappointed in this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great I think this is a great vacuum. It does what it says. I wish cleaning out the base, where the motor is, was easier (have to unscrew like 12 screws and the felt separator always comes out when putting it back together). I sucked up a cotton ball and it wouldn't go into the collecting container, so it just backed up dirt/hair and decreased the suction. But once I cleaned it, it worked like new. I don't like the Febreze filter. It gives me headaches because I'm so sensitive to fragrances, and Febreze isn't a cruelty-free company, so having a vacuum that "supports animals" while using that product is very hypocritical in my opinion. If they want a fragrance addition, there are better options out there, and having more than one scent would be good.
