Only got a year and a half out of it before it quit holding a charge. I am very disappointed with this vacuum. . It replaced a Bissel Perfect Sweep Turbo that I purchased a month earlier than this one because the brushes did not turn. Returned it to the store and purchased this one. It should last at least 2 years. Why should I have to buy a new one each year??

This sweeper works like a charm...when it keeps running. I have trouble with it just stopping. I have to finagle with the dirt cup, sometimes for a long time, to get it to come back on. I can't figure out how to keep it running. It just stops and it's irritating to get it going again. I love the way it works when it DOES work. It really picks up well!
I contacted customer service oday tand they are sending me a new sweeper! How about that! Great customer service I'd say!

We were always charging this thing, and the pickup is a joke. Hair always got clogged in the brush roll as well, which we also had to constantly clean. Thankfully we no longer have this vacuum!

The left wheel locking up is caused by the belt which allows the wheel to act as the motor driving the small brush on the left front of the sweeper. The belt stretches in a way which causes it to get caught instead of moving freely, which causes it to lock up the wheel. I found that brush, and the one on the other side, to be pretty insignificant, so I just removed both of the belts. The wheels roll perfectly now.

I am still using the one I ordered 4 or 5 years ago. I just ordered the new one because I am afraid it might start losing pickup power because of age. I would be lost without it, quick, easy, reliable. Perfect for rugs and floors, and light weight too. I had to have a backup.

Sorry but I'm on my 5th sweeper. I decided 6 months ago to give it one more try. When it works I loved it. Problem is the sweeper locks up over time usually within 9 months. Bissell did send me another if it broke under warranty. This last one I bought again out of warranty. I do believe they sen me a refurbished one because when I received it was louder than the previous new ones I had. But I said when it worked I loved it but this one crapped out just now. My warranty expired this month
Personally I really think you should remove this product or re-engineered it. It was always the same problem. Sweeper brush locks up and makes a loud awful noise.
So now I have to research and find a similar sweeper I can use between big vacuuming.

I'd always found Bissell quality was superior to other brands for many years and have owned many Bissell products.
I wish I could say the same about my most recent purchase of the "Perfect Sweep Turbo." I'm on my third sweeper after having exchanged two with the very same problem. The rear left wheel locks up and renders it frozen. The store where purchased was great with regard to my exchanges however I've now lost the receipt and with the second replacement I'm stuck with the left rear frozen wheel once again! Apparently I'm not the only one for after quick internet search for I'd found many others experienced the same problem.

The first one I bought my parents was the perfect sweeper my elderly parents to use. It charged, kept the charge was a dream come true. The second one I got them would not charge.
Then I bought a third one for myself. I cannot get it to take a charge. When charger is plugged in the red light stays on this time for three weeks. If I unplug it to use it, it will only run about 10 min. I am very unhappy with Bissell.
Bissell please make your products better because I love your idea of a sweeper.

I'm on my 4th one. Bissell is good about sending a new one when they fail. Just don't waste your money on this product. It isn't worth the aggravation of the wheel locking up and waiting for a replacement. It needs to be taken off the shelves!!!!!

I've been using mine over 4 years now. Charges up great, I let it run all the way down before recharging and then plug it in for 12 hrs. It picks up cat litter and cat hair effortlessly. The dirt cup cleans easily. It's used daily. I did purchase a back up that's still in the box. It's not a vacuum cleaner but it's a fantastic sweeper.

Bissell has consistently been accommodating. I purchased a sweeper and after a few months the right front wheel froze up. When I contacted Bissell for advice they just sent me a brand new sweeper at no cost. This type of customer satisfaction is rare in today's business world and is extremely appreciated. As we look for sweepers and vacuums we will always consider Bissell first. Thank you.
