Birki Wool Clogs These are a great product, as always, but seem to run a bit small. I know if I get the next size up they will be too big so I hope they stretch a bit. I bought the green and they are a beautiful color. I love them. 05-03-12
Love these! I bought two pair of the blue, one to use as slippers and one pair for use outside during the cold weather. They're super comfy, warm and durable. If you love Birkenstocks at all, you'll really like these for the colder months and to use as slippers inside. Thanks Q for easy pay and Birkenstock for great shoes. 01-31-12
birkenstock widths I really have come to love these birkentstock shoes, i explore the internet for good deals on both clogs and sandals. QVC has a nice variety but only in the narrow width. For those of us that have either wider feet or place a additional doctor prescribed foot orthotic in the clog or sandal the narrow width will not do. Please OVC if you read these reviews consider also offering the regular width in the nice variety of birk's that you do offer. thank you! 12-16-11
Toasty Toes I've been wearing Birkenstocks for over twenty years. I wear these as house slippers because I stay at home and I need the arch support. These keep my feet warm and they keep me from seeing the chiropractor as often. 12-09-11
Extremely comfortable Wearing these clogs is like putting on a air shoe. I have been wearing Birrkenstock for 20 years. NO OTHER SHOE LIKE THEM. 10-06-11
MY FAVORITE 'HOUSE SHOE' FOR COLD WEATHER I wore these clogs in Blue all last winter in the house (no socks), and couldn't imagine being without them. These have a supportive, firm but comfy, fit. I usually wear an 8, but had to size DOWN in these from my usual Birkenstock size. In the 7, they fit perfectly... and I could still wear them with thin socks if I wanted to. When I saw these were on clearance here, I did an exhaustive web search to see if they were available elsewhere for a better price, especially since I now know my size and wouldn't need to make a return. Friends, these clogs are nowhere to be found, with the exception of a single pair or two on obscure sites. So, as another reviewer noted, these will not be back. I'm purchasing Plum so that I will have a second pair. To any fans of this clog, I recommend you consider a second (or third!) color while your size is available -- or say goodbye to them forever. 08-30-11
Love This Shoe Have been wanting a shoe like this for a long time, one just for use as a house shoe. I have very narrow feet and a high arch and the shoe fits me perfectly. I got the blue and really love it. Hope they come out with something for the warm weather. 02-07-11
Run small, tight fit They are nice but run shallow and tight. I had to exchange my normal size for a size larger. Just so you know... 01-24-11
Something New After All These Years I've been a Birkenstock girl for a long time (we can measure it in decades!) and along comes something new to me: the wool upper. I got the burnt orange-- gorgeous! It's as firm as leather or the synthetics, and very soft on the foot, not scratchy. While the sole doesn't have the typical figure-eight-pattern tread, it is textured so not to be slippery and is indoor/outdoor EVA. The thing I hesitated over is the microfiber footbed liner, not suede. Well, it looks like suede and feels just as nice as suede on the bare foot. Knowing Birkenstock quality, I'm willing to bet it will hold up over time. The fit on this clog, even without strap adjustability, is solid and comfortable-- this point is a deal-breaker for me because I need firm support for my ankles, and this pair provides it. I'm now completely convinced that I like the >Birkenstock< footbed shape better than Birki's or Papillio's. It's really a style thing; the original Birkenstock style is >slightly< narrower, and while accomodating my wide foot it is also visually more slimming. I've also got this clog upper style on a Birki's footbed, and this new one is just a little more flattering on me. I see this as not only a house shoe (I always wear Birkenstocks, never slippers!) but as an outdoor shoe as well, especially on those first warm days of spring with shorts, no socks.... Claudia said on air that when this one is gone it most likely won't come back... I'd highly recommend it to any Birkenstock lover! 01-05-11
