Decorating Tips

Holiday Wreath or Centerpiece

You will need:

  • A battery-operated, pre-lit evergreen wreath
  • Six yards of ribbon
  • One piece of wire
  • Flameless candles or a hurricane with regular candles

To assemble:

  1. Start by fluffing the wreath. Next, make a big bow with several loops, fasten the finished bow with wire, and then attach the bow to the wreath.
  2. Take the remaining ribbon and cascade it around the wreath, tucking and twisting it into the greenery.
  3. Turn on the lights and hang the wreath on your door or mantle.

-OR-

  1. Turn on the lights and make the wreath the centerpiece on your table. Fill the center with flameless candles or regular candles in a hurricane, then light and enjoy!

Multi-Seasonal Floral Wreath

You will need:

  • Two floral wreaths
  • Two nests
  • Two birds
  • Small bit of deer moss
  • Glue gun and glue sticks
  • Five yards of wide burlap ribbon
  • Five yards of narrow burlap ribbon
  • One piece of wire

To assemble:

  1. Using the glue gun, glue a bird and some moss into each nest, then glue one nest to each wreath.
  2. Using the wide and narrow ribbon together, make a big bow with several loops. Cut the tails off the ribbon (in different lengths) and fasten the bow with wire.
  3. Using a loop of wide ribbon, connect the wreaths so there is one at the top and one at the bottom. Hot glue the ribbon ends together.
  4. Take another loop of wide ribbon, wrap it around the top wreath, and hot glue the ends together (to make a hanging loop).
  5. Attach the bow to the top wreath.
  6. Hang and enjoy!

H17578 - Bethlehem Lights Battery Operated 26" Pre-Lit Wreath w/Timer 5 5 5 5
Great Wreath I found this really handy. I hung it inside from the window frame and it was very visible from the street. With the timer, it lit up before I got home and when I drove up it was there to greet me. The battery compartment is secure on the frame, nothing dangles and it was pretty well cat-proof (although they did try to catch the blinking lights). I intend to get more for next year. 01-17-10
Easy Decorating who could ask for anything more. i was disappointed when i took it out of the box because it seemed small in comparison to the one i ordered before (electric). but i fell in love w/ it when i returned home to see it on the door. it was so cute and i was proud. i'm here in search of other battery operated christmas decor. it was so easy i could do it myself and didn't have to argue w/ my husband. the putting up and taking down. i am quite pleased. 01-15-10
Absolutely the Best Purchase I needeed something with lights in my foyer since I didn't want any cords by the door and was skeptical at first buying a pe-lit wreath but once I got it and hung it on my door, I was so glad I made the purchase. The lights are very bright which I wanted. I've had numerous people comment on it. I've had the wreath on since the 1st of December and I keep it steady and on timer. Every night it comes on at the same time and goes off 6 hours later. It's now Jan 1 and its still bright as day 1 with no battery changes. I know for next Christmas, I'm buying the matching pre-lit garland for the foyer banister and I'm already planning to replace my icicle lights for pre-lit garlands for my porch banister and a wreath as well for the garagae. Just one suggestion on the garland and wreaths, could the timer include a dusk/dawn setting as well as what's already available. That would make this item #1. 01-01-10
LOVE THIS WREATH I love that bethlehem lights came out with this B/O wreath, I have 6 of them in the clear lights to put on the windows in front of my house for the holidays. The timers are a bonus, no more electrical cords YEH!!!!!!!!!! needed 1 more and they're sold out hope this same wreath comes back next season so all my wreaths match. 11-20-09
Very Handy I ordered this wreath last year. It is a great wreath and the battery feature makes it so handy! You can put it anywhere! I had mine on the outside of my front door the entire season and it still looks brand new! In fact, I put some old batteries I had around and the batteries were still going strong in January! I love this product and I an now ordering more Bethlehem Lights for this season! 11-18-09
