Rated 2 out of 5 by jeffster beautiful tree, but some strings of lights went ou
Bought this tree after pondering for two years, loved it when we first put up, but within a week the lights on section 2 went out , and it is a disaster to try to figure which bulb was out. , didn't realize that on the pre-lit tree that once 1 bulb is out the whole string goes out.
and with the price of this tree you would think the lights would be LED not old style lights.
We ending up returning the tree.
overall, the tree is beautiful- lights are horrible!!!!!!

Still in love with this tree after 7 years! Was easy to set up, bright beautiful lights. Looks just like a true spruce. We have had to replace light periodically but it still looks as good as the day we got it. Well worth the money.

Disappointed in the tree. The lights are very dim not as bright as I like. What QVC showed on Tv doesn't look as good in reality.
The branches are hard to arrange for older people and it's too skinny than what I like for an artificial tree. Not as full as shown on qvc.
The instructions are not as easy to read. Doesn't explain the use of the remote for lighting.
I would not buy another tree from qvc or bethelem lighting again.
Not sure if I'll return it as its heavy and cumbersome to move and repack.
The cost involved to send back is a joke
When the return policy is it can be returned up to January 2017. But it still costs the customer to send back.

This is my 4th or 5th Bethlehem Lights Christmas tree. I keep coming back because I was happy with each of the other purchases. Not so much this time. I purchased the 7.5 foot for my new house. It was a disaster out of the box. Section 2 of the tree had two strings of lights that were completely out. I found one broken light in one string, easy enough to fix. But the second string, no broken bulbs. I checked each multiple times to make sure none were loose. To avoid having to return the tree, pay shipping and be without a tree, my husband suggested I remove the bad string and replace it with one of our own. I removed the string of lights and gave it to him to find the problem. After removing several bulbs and checking them, he found one burned out bulb. Not sure what happened to the "one burned out bulb won't make the whole string go out" claim. I then had to restring the lights. If you have seen how they string their lights, you'll understand that this entire process took all day. So contrary to their demonstration on the tree being up with lights glowing in minutes, it took me hours. This experience will make me think twice the next time I want to order something that cannot easily be returned. And, since their bulbs are unique to Bethlehem Lights, and we went through several bulbs (their removal tool destroys the housing for the bulb), I am now concerned that I will not have replacement bulbs when they start burning out. And there is nothing on .com for ordering replacement bulbs. The tree looks great but had I known the hours it would take to get to this point, I cannot say I would do it again.
