Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken out of the box Terrible. I wasn’t expecting much given the reviews; well thank God for that. I ordered two colors to see which would be better. The first was a blonde which arrived (already worn by someone else), along with broken clips and a plastic piece hanging off. The other was a brunette to blonde ombré. Another disappointment. This one was not opened, however the clip on one of the side pieces was broken, and the back piece was like 15 pounds...pass. I would also love to know who designed the size of these things. A woman’s head is not the size of a 30 pound bowling ball. Total bummer because the hair itself is very realistic and pretty. There’s absolutely no way to make these things work though. Major fail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doll hair I would be very hard pressed to believe this is 100% human hair. Not only does it not color like human hair or hi light like human hair , but it has doll hair texture. Then once you wash it it tangles like doll hair snaps off like doll hair The worst I've owned. I used a brown hair color that I always use to create darker towards the clips and it is like dark ash blonde after leaving it on an hour so it colors like doll hair. Then the tangled mess after doing this, and none of my hair products were working on smoothing it so I decided to look up how to smooth doll hair and guess what IT WORKED. Therefore I must conclude it's plastic doll hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In case you didn’t know..... I’m seeing a lot of the same complaints in the reviews. But I want to clarify some things about these particular hair extensions. First of all, these are 100% human hair & so they can be washed, conditioned, trimmed/cut, colored, and styled with heating tools. I took my extensions to an experienced stylist & we put them in & I had them trimmed, thinned & colored according to what would look most natural and flattering on me. I basically had the extensions matched up with my own hair. This is what makes these so beautiful and wearable! Just the fact that one extension is too big or thick as it is, isn’t necessarily a bad thing because it can be cut or thinned out according to your needs/desires. Most other extension brands don’t offer enough hair within a single extension to do this. I purchased 2 sets which still came out to be less than one full set off of the Bellame website. I’m glad I did because I have a lot more options, but it’s not necessary. Also, the clip in extensions are a quick and easy way to add some volume and length. You need to put them in & style your hair along with the extensions already in & treat them as if it’s all your own hair in order to get the most natural looking results. I think that people are assuming that the extensions aren’t going to require any attention as far as styling them & getting them to blend in w/your own hair & that’s just not true. You really need to take the time to get them matched properly & trimmed or cut if necessary & have them color matched to your own hair. Then take the time to style them as if it were your own hair. This is the best way to get the results you’re looking for. Once you do this, you’ll have the hair you’re looking for! Extensions take a little work at first, but if it’s done right, it’s SO worth it! If you invested the money into owning human hair, why not take the time to get it properly matched so you can actually enjoy them?!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just bad Main piece is just too much and looks fake. I don’t understand the clear headband at all. Not comfortable. If you take it off then the side pieces won’t stay down because there is no hooks. I’m returning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality The color was just not good before I even evaluated the quality of the hair, I was hopeful for the price of the 12" extension pieces they would look more like real hair, I have highlighted shoulder length hair and was hoping to blend them in. They are shiny and strange to look at feel like doll hair. No thanks. I expected better from the "Q's" quality team.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I've used many types of extensions for many years. I just chopped and colored my hair, so I was excited to try a halo in a pre-cut length and balayage. I tried the dark brown to blonde color, and the shade was actually a pretty decent match. The side pieces are nice enough, and I could find a use for them in many styles. The halo piece however, is a huge fail. It's super thick and doll-like, almost like a fall from the 60's. In this short length, it needs to be thinned out a ton to make it work. The hair quality was also off--really blunt and puffy at the top, and the bottom was choppy and uneven. It came with a tight curl, and looked even worse after I tried to straighten a bit with an iron. The ends of the hair are straggly. The most positive thing I can say is that most places do not let you try and return hair extensions, but QVC does, so props for that. If the side pcs were sold on their own, I would buy those. But the halo needs to be totally redone in this 12 inch length.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me I think these are supposed to be human hair, but they really don't look like it. The ash brown color didn't work for me and seemed somewhat flat, shiny and one dimensional. They are also very curly and although they say you can heat style, I didn't want to risk it since I'm sending them back. If you have thin or fine hair, as I do, you probably won't be able to cover the top of the extension with your own hair. The model demonstrating on TV had VERY thick black hair and they looked good. On me.....not so much.
