Some people want to complain why I don't know!
I purchased the ring, charm and earrings and they are all amazing. First of all any reviiew stating the ring is flimsey is not being forthright and complaining about price after fact is also absurd. These are great pieces, and very reasonably priced. Great detail to all, love this, buying another for back up!!!!!!!!!!! Love this suite.

Beautiful Concept, So-So Execution
Eyed the entire set for awhile and bought the ring on clearance. As a piece of art, it is gorgeous, but for me, a bit too much to be wearable. In comparison to her other rings, this one also felt flimsy. I offered it up to a few other Bixby/Buddha fans and could not find any takers.

Gorgeous!
This ring is gorgeous! Not a small dainty ring, has a lot of heft to it. There is a small amount of gold (the earring) and some blue stones (head), and the rest is silver. I have no complaints about this ring. I also bought the matching earrings. This set is a must for anyone who collects buddhas like myself.

Own it - Love it!!!
Just another example of the true design quality and craftsmanship of Barbara Bixby. This ring is so much fun to wear and I always have folks notice it when I wear it. It makes me happy! I feel really special when I wear Barbara's pieces - she is my #1 designer of jewelry at QVC. I still have pieces that I bought from when she first began at QVC and they still look just as beautiful as the day I purchased them. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

LOVE IT
I ORDERED THIS RING TO WEAR TOGETHER WITH NEW QUAN YIN ENHANCER I WAS JUST THINKING THEY WOULD BE A UNIQUE SET AND THEY ARE!!!! I LOVE THIS RING ITS BOLD BUT NOT TO BIG.. ONLY THAT I HAD TO EXCHANGE MY FIRST ONE SINCE THE MOP WAS NOT EVEN ON HIS FACE.. SECOND CAME PERFECT.. I LOVE THIS RING!!

BEAUTIFUL BUT DISAPPOINTING
I'm always on the look-out for Zen jewelry and was very excited when I saw this ring. I bought the ring, earring and Buddha charm. I thought they were beautiful, but just couldn't justify the price point for the actual product. Mother of Pearl isn't a very expensive gemstone and for the amount of money spent I felt a more exotic stone shouldn've been used. I sent all the pieces back.
The Bixby line is beautiful and unusual, but very over-priced.

Buddha baby!
I own all three pieces and wear at least one every day. His message of peace and serenity is something we can all use. He is gorgeous and wears a happy expression. He is quite substantial, not wimpy. I love to flip around his dangle earring when I wear him. The blue stones sparkle and add just the right touch. Another masterpiece from Barbara. She is a true artist extaordinaire.

Mother-of-Pearl Buddha Ring
This ring is exquisite. I love this ring. The carving on his face is truly a labor of love. Barbara Bixby does beautiful work and I absolutely love all her work.

New Family Heirloom
This ring is a work of art in every sense of the word. So many visual treats you won't know where to begin. The sterling granulated beading of the headdress, the beautiful blue topaz lotus, the serene facial expression, the luminosity of the mother-of-pearl, the dainty gold earring that moves and dangles from the elongated earlobes, the OM symbols on either side of the shank. Every time I wear it I stare at it as though I've never seen it before. My nail tech, who is Buddhist, literally took it off my finger to examine it. It's a large, gorgeous ring that attracts attention and evokes comments. It's perfectly balanced so that it doesn't swivel around and get in the way. Thank you, Barbara, for creating this new heirloom that I hope will be passed down to women in my family for generations to come.

Love this Ring!!!!!
I'd been wanting this for awhile and was a teeny bit afraid it might be a bit too "cutesy" but I am so glad I went ahead and picked it up! It's stunning! I always get compliments on it every time I wear it - the detail is amazing on it and it has a serious presence but is super comfy to wear!

Lovely and peaceful
This buddha is beautifully carved, weighted to stand up on the finger, and uplifting to look at. The MOP catches the light and glows. The ring is weighty so you always know it's there - I wear it on my middle finger, but never flips around due to excellent design of the shank and balanced weight. The blue topaz stones are more of a swiss blue, they are pale, which adds to a dreamy quality, but I do wish they were more london blue in saturation. I am very happy with this ring and find myself wearing it much more often than I originally thought. It's great for work or play; it's an anytime ring. Thanks for a very fine design and interpretation of the buddha.

No Lightweight
Let me just say, "WOW!" This ring is no lightweight. It is laden with silver and is heavy. That said, it's exquisite. The carving on the face is delightful and has such an inner glow to it. I love the beads on the headdress and the addition of the blue topaz lotus. Most of all, I am so glad that Barbara designed the ring with the OM symbol on both sides.
Just wow!
